I have an 8y/o with Asperger's Syndrome and some motor delays. As a result her walking endurance is limited to about 20 minutes. We would like to get a stroller to make everyone's life easier and cut down on the whining.

With the price increases Disney implemented on the strollers, I was trying to come up with another option. However, because my daughter is 8y/o and 55 lbs, I think she has outgrown most conventional umbrella strollers and jogger strollers.

Any ideas??? :confused3

Try the DISabilities board - I know they make bigger strollers (and smaller wheelchairs), but I wouldn't know where to look for 'em. The people on that board would know exactly where to look :)

Thanks for the suggestion :goodvibes

My daughter is "normal " ( I know, what is normal), enough to not need a wheel chair. she can run and jump, just poops out alot sooner than most kids.

I will check out DISabilities.

Hi
We bought a Maclaren Volo stroller for $79.99 on babye-store.com. They hold up to 55 lbs, and they have free shipping. Some of the other Maclaren strollers might have a higher weight limit to them. I don't know. You'd have to check. Good luck in finding one and have a great trip!!
