My family and I are taking our first trip to Disney World in November. I have two boys, ages 7 and 19 months (at the time we go). I'm looking for stroller suggestions for the little one. I have a jeep umbrella stroller, but it doesn't have a storage net underneath, which I know we will need. I have a big stroller by evenflo but I was looking to see if anyone has used a light weight stroller that was easy to fold up, for getting on and off of the monorail or bus, but that it also had a storage compartment. Any suggestion is welcomed!

Thanks,
Amy

I have a Baby Trend stroller. Not sure if I picked it up at Target or Babies R Us, but I remember it costing approximately $40. It has a nice sized storage area and a small parent tray with 2 cup holders. It folds up quickly and easily which is perfect for the busses and boats! I use it all the time since its easier to use than all of the travel systems and better quality than an umbrella stroller. It'll be making the trip to Disney World in 2 weeks!

I had the same problem this past trip we took. I borrowed a double from a friend and to my dismay there was no storage.
I didn't want to buy one so i ended up buying these at babies r us.

They worked wonderfully. Since I was staying in the park, I just had any purchases sent back top my room. So all I had to carry was my very small diaper bag and a shouldre bag. which fit easily in the hooks.

We bought two Maclaren Volos for our trip and the worked out really well. (They don't recline, but our kids refuse to recline anyway and still seemed very comfortable.) My kids are over the weight limit for most strollers, so our options were fairly limited. They have a small mesh basket underneath, a strap to throw it over your shoulder on the busses, and a raincover.

The Volos seem pretty expensive in the stores, but we found them on ebay-- new for about $50 + shipping each.

We have the Maclaren Techno XT. It has a mesh storage basket and some small pockets by the handles. It also reclines which is one of the features I love the most. It folds up really quick and is pretty light. It does not have a sholder strap but it does have a handle on the side. We bought the stroller a long time ago so I don't remember excactly how much it was but I know it wasn't cheap but it was a great investment. My DS4 still uses it and he fits just fine.

we have a jeep stroller that didn't have a storage basket. we called the company and had them send us a mesh basket with velcro that attatched easily underneath. the hanging storage from the handles is also a way to add more room.

We have a Chicco Capri umbrella stoller. Its super lightweight, rolls great, reclines a little and has a canopy. It has a small mesh basket underneath. You can't fit too much in there, but its handy. We love it because it is similar to the Jeep (which we also have), but sturdier and has the basket. I think we got ours at Babies R Us. Good luck!

I have a Baby Trend Sit and Stand... got it at Walmart.com... about $120. I have 2 kids, and the cool thing is, it has a regular stroller seat in front, but in back there is little bench seat for a toddler to sit, or there is a place for them to stand.

This was GREAT for WDW... my 3 yr old (at the time), was able to get down and see things alot easier than pulling her out of a stroller seat. And there is a strap so you can keep them seated.

There IS a net underneath that you can pack a good bit of stuff... and we also bought those hooks that attach on the stroller handle to hang our shopping bags from.

I LLLLOOOOVVE my stroller and HIGHLY recommend it!

(***Off subject TIP...AND.... I also recommend the backpack harnesses for toddlers, so they don't get lost while walking around on their own, gives them freedom to walk around, but not stray away in a crowd.)
