Stroller Shade-Need Some Help

We are taking our double jogging stroller for DS 3 and 8 mos. My problem is that it gives little shade unless the sun is right behine you So what do you guys suggest for shade even if I have to rig something. I've had a melanoma scare so I'm kind of a freak about this. Thanks guys.

We have this one on our double - it's stretchy and will fit just about any double out there. Very easy to put on. The only possible issue is that in a strong wind, it tends to blow backwards but I've only had that happen at the beach on a really windy day. You can fold the stroller with it on or you can take it off and it folds up really small into a drawstring pouch. Here it is in black, it's also available in blue from some places and there's also a "deluxe" version which I think comes with a rain cover but that seemed like overkill to me:

Kiddopotamus also makes one which is a bit flimsier, but at half the price it will still get the job done. I have a Kiddopotamus one on my single stroller and it's okay on the single, but I think they're a bit too floppy for a double (just my personal opinion):

We use the double ray shade. I love it! One of the best features is that it can be pulled down and provide an almost enclosed area for the kids. Sometimes thay like to "hide" in there. It is big enough to cover the entire from of the stroller if we want to. One of the best purchases I mase.

Just got my kidopotomus Ray shade in the mail today. I think it'll be great and totally covers or folds back easily. Can't wait for the next 30 days to go by.

BTW- the Rayshade says it's SPF 50.
