Stroller rentals!

Hi there! Planning our first big Disney World trip in Aug 2023! At that time I will have a 6 year old and 2.5 year old. Just wondering if Disney has double strollers to rent (our older son is not great at walking long distances) and if they have a weight limit? Also, cost? Comfortable? Or anything else you want to share about them?

I was thinking of only renting them at the parks, we don’t have a double stroller at home and I don’t want to buy one.

There are a multitude of companies to rent them from. Scooterbug can deliver/pick up from Disney resorts bell services. A couple of the others have locations at MCO for pick up/drop off or can meet you at the hotel for pickup/dropoff.

I think most people prefer to rent from a company, as it's one less line to wait in every day.

And you'll have it to/from transportation, which can be a really long walk carrying a tired child at the end of the day!

The main reason we rented a double was to avoid carrying a 5 year old to the front of Epcot at the end of the day.

park rentals are plastic not good for napping for younger child plus it can be a long walk from gate to buses, boat, monorail or car in evening with a tired 6 year old plus younger child and park strollers can not go past gate. offsite rentals are usually cheaper in cost and can go with you to your transportation

Does anyone know if the park strollers ever sell out for a day?

We rented for years and I'm recommending that option to a friend but in case she decides she wants to rent at the parks, asking about them selling out. They're there on days when park reservations are filling/full so it will be extremely busy.
