I am still debating if I should bring a stroller with me on our trip. Does anyone have an idea or know what type of stroller they rent at Disneyland and California adventure?

Thanks,
Sharon :earsboy:

Are the strollers at DL the same as in WDW? It's been a while and I've forgotten. Thanks

The strollers are jogging type strollers with free-moving, smaller front wheels and larger back wheels. There is a basket and a pouch for storing things which came in just as handy as the stroller itself. I pushed a 4 1/2 yr old easily in it. When you leave the park, you must leave the stroller and take your receipt to the next park where they will give you another one. at the end of the day, you just leave the stroller in the general area of the exit, there is no deposit to pick up.

Have fun!

In deciding whether to take your own or not, you may want to consider that rentals have to be turned in at the front gate, so you can't stroller a sleepy kid back to the room, also the rental's don't fold, so you can't take them on the monorial or the railroad. We rented last week and it was fine, (since my dd is almost 5 and we don't own a stroller anymore) but people who had their own had some advantages. Note, if you rent, take an inexpensive scarf and tie it on the handle so you can find your stroller in a sea of rental strollers, this worked great for us.

Thank you Thank you! You have all been such a great help! But one more question do the rental strollers recline?

Thanks! :Pinkbounc Leavin tomorrow!! :Pinkbounc

I have a 4 year old and just went to Babies R Us to buy a light weight but comfy one(we tried them ALL out). I think in the end we will be glad we did. My thoughts:
Won't have to deal with the pick up/drop off at the beginning/end of the day.
If we want to take the train or monorail to get from land to land/hotel we can fold up and take it with us. (You can NOT take the rentals on the train/monorail)
And at the end of a long day she can ride back to the hotel.

The rentals do not recline. They do have a sun shade over the top. Have a great vacation, we were there last week and I miss it. :cool1: :Pinkbounc
