Is there any private business in Anaheim that delivers strollers to the hotels (we are staying at the GCH). I don't like the park strollers and need to have the stroller for getting back to the room. I don't want to travel with one either...too much of a hassle.

I have no experience with them, but I saw them mentioned by a poster on mouseplanet...www.travelbabees.com has an Anaheim location, and they routinely go to the hotels in the area!

If you use them, do tell us how it went, b/c no one ever talks about them.

I am going to try these guys in March. I just emailed them to see if they deliver.

I like having my own strollers but don't want to haul them this trip. I'll let everyone know how it goes when we get home :)

I find this page http://www.thenewparentsguide.com/baby-equipment-rentals-california.htm useful; I've used this site when visiting other cities and needed to look for baby equipment rental. I have not used any of the services for Orange County before, and I'm considering renting a stroller for our upcoming trip. I have used Baby's Away for two other cities in CA -- San Diego and San Jose area -- and had good (uneventful) experiences with both. Each franchisee decides how much info to put on the web and I find it irritating that most Baby's Away franchisee do not even create a separate website with additional info. So basically you just need to email them and ask questions. Still, given that I've had good experiences with two other Baby's Away franchisees, I would not hesitate to consider them when comparison shopping. Be careful on the delivery charges with all these private rental places as that often is a big % of the rental fee when only renting one item. Also, while looking into the Orange County area rental places, I *think* (and am not positive) that Baby's Away is the only one that has a practice of delivery before your arrival and pick up after your departure (they work with the hotel bell services). I like the convenience of that, but ultimately, I'll go with price.

We had people suggest to us to purchase a cheap umbrella stroller after arriving in Anaheim then leaving it behind when you go home.......probably cheaper than renting a stroller......just a thought.

Unfortunately, cheap umbrella strollers don't work with my 5 year old 46 lb'er. I know he gets tired after a day in the park and I want a stroller for those times. Plus we plan to walk back to our hotel a few blocks away.

How many days will you need it? There's a Target down the street from the resort where you might be able to buy one for the same $$ or less depending on how long you'll be there.
