Stroller Rental Info needed

Does anyone have information / advice on renting strollers at Disney? Are there any discounts available? Do we need to reserve them in advance?

You just get (rent) them at the parks. No discounts, no reservations. I believe if you stay in a conceirge (spelled wrong I'm sure) room they can get you a stroller to use for the length of your stay.

Lasy July, I believe there was a small discount for renting strollers for a number of days. I want to say 10% but I don't remember. Post on the Disney for Family board. They always answer my stroller questions ASAP.

We decided to rent a stroller for our almost 4 year old instead of bringing one from home. I paid for 3 days use. It came to about $21 and then I received $3 back on the last day. I used a single stroller, so I'm not sure of the charges for a double stroller.

Here's what we thought:
AK: Great strollers! No problems!
Epcot: Great strollers! No problems!
Disney-MGM: Horrible strollers! No other problems, just hated the stroller itself.
MK: Great strollers! Hassle returning--confusion abounds at the gate when the park is closing!

Even though the cast member said to just get our ticket stamped each day and not wait in line when visiting the other parks, it seemed that I still had to wait in line because the cast members, as well as myself, were a bit confused on the process!

We actually rented a stroller from an outside source. It was delivered to the resort (VWL) on the first day of our stay. At the time we went my dd was 13 months and my son was 5. I knew we'd be doing A LOT of walking so I rented a sit/stand stroller from A Baby's Best Friend. (www.abbf.com) I felt it was very reasonable. I also rented other items such as a full size crib and toys for the room which REALLY came in handy on the day we were in our villa due to Hurricane Jeanne.

It was very nice because we could use it right from our room. It was a great stroller!
