Do they do it at DL?

If we rent a stroller in one park and hop to the other the same day, do we pay again for a stroller?

WDW allows you to have a stroller at no cost if you've already rented one that same day in another park. You just have to show your receipt.

You would just use the same stroller, crossing the esplanade and entering the other park. You are still within the security zone. If you were to leave the security zone, say to go to DTD or one of the hotels, you'd have to leave your stroller behind. From one park to the other, you're good!

First, you only pay once for the day. If you lose track of the stroller, you can take your receipt back to stroller rental and get another for the rest of the day. Second, you can take your rented stroller back and forth between the parks. The entrances for Disneyland and DCA are directly across from each other. You actually rent your stroller in the esplanade outside the parks and can use it in both parks and the esplanade area. You cannot take a rented stroller beyond the security checkpoints though, so you cannot use it in downtown Disney.
