I posted this on the family forum, but figured it might get some more traffic over here:

Do any of you leave rented strollers unattended while on rides? The stroller rental agreement has me worried, it states that "The Client agrees to maintain possession of the rental item throughout the course of their rental period. Rental items are to be kept secure when not in use ( ie hotel room, vehicle ). Items are not to be left with bell stands or luggage rooms for daily storage. Items found with bell stands or luggage rooms may be considered abandoned or returned early and are subject to pick up. "

Has anyone had trouble with this? Thanks for your insight.

Everyone leaves their stroller while in rides. The cm may move it, but it will still be there. I think the agreement just doesn't want you to abandon the stroller.

Yes, we left our stroller while we were on rides and at attractions. You will see lots of rented strollers in the parking areas. I didn't expect to have anyone bother it (and no one did), but I did pay for the optional insurance for peace of mind.

Thank you for the replies! I guess I'm just neurotic!

Who are you renting the stroller from? Most stroller rental places have inexpensive "insurance" you can purchase ($10-$15). This would cover any issues in the parks. It will at least give you peace of mind. We rented from Kingdom Strollers and we never felt uncomfortable leaving it while on a ride.

That just says that it shouldn't be left in a common area or with bell services for the day. Not that you can't set it aside while on a ride. I would imagine that there are some people that have just abandoned them in hotel lobbies and the hotel calls the rental place to come get them. They are saying that if you try to leave it someplace like that all day they may be called to come get it. That is how I interpret is at least.

Thank you, I will get the insurance for the piece of mind. Thank you.

Seeing how there is no choice but to park the stroller to go on rides I'm not sure what other option there would be
We did rent a stroller once and it never crossed my mind to be worried about it.
