Hello-
We have a family coming out to visit us and we are heading to DL. They have a 4 yr old and a 4 month old. They have a single stroller for their baby. I have a double stroller that I need for my 2 yr old and 5 month old although my 2 yr old likes to walk alot so the 4 yr old could ride in it occasionally. The 4 yr old visitor had never been to a theme park and I'm afraid she'll tire from walking. I do not want to use a snuggly for the younger infants (me and the other mom have back problems). Should I rent a stroller for the 4 yr old or should I buy a cheaper stroller? I would rather rent, but carrying her back to the hotel asleep is not that appealing but can be done by dh. Wdw has doubles for rent (then we could rent a double and not have to have 3 strollers to push) but I don't think I've seen doubles at DL (am I wrong?). What would you do?

TIA

we have rented a few times when we had done last minute trips and forgotten to take a stroller. I found that bringing your own is more convenient because it is hard for me to get my daughter from the parks to the hotel. It's a very long walk to the shuttle or the car when carrying a sleeping child.

The last time we forgot to bring a stroller we popped into the Target on Harbor and bought a lightweight stroller.

We went for the first time when my DD was 3yrs. 3 months. The only day of our 5 day trip that we needed a stroller was the last day and it was for OUR convience more for her needing it. If memory serves me my 5 yo spent more time in it then the 3 yo.

IMO strollers are a big hassles, while it is true that you will be doing a lot of walking, it is usually in short bursts with more time in lines (where you couldn't even use a stroller) then actual distance walking.

Personally I wouldn't bother with a stroller.

Thanks for your advice!
Disneychrista, I appreciate the vegetarian disney menu items-will pass it on to some friends!
MandaMom--Your little girl is so cute in that picture--is that Gymboree's BonVoyage kitty she is wearing? My girls loved that line sooo much!
Happy spring!:wave2:
