I'm looking for some recommendations for a lightweight stroller for DD (6m). I'll be buying it to take to Disney World and other trips (and to use after).

I'd like...
  • recline
  • easy to fold/easy to push
  • PINK (or cool color choices)
  • storage basket
  • nice sized sunshade

I'd like to stay under $200. I've had my eye on the Joovy Groove, but I can't seem to find much info on them. I've also looked at some Macs, but they all seem more like umbrella strollers than lightweight.

Thanks!

I've never been one to pay a lot for a stroller, so this is the one I got when my daughter was born ... it won't let me post a link but its the Combi Cosmo EX

I really love it, its very lightweight, easy to steer (even 1 handed), folds up to the size of an umbrella stroller and I love the color :-)

We love our Peg Perego Pliko P3. DD even loves it! The canopy is big, the recline is really good, the basket is big (though a bit of a pain to get to at times), it folds up easily and is lightweight. We bought ours online after checking out every stroller at our local BRU. We got it for 1/2 off because it was a 2007 and we were buying it around now in 2008.

we love our Maclaren Quest. It is light weight, folds and stores easily, and is a great value for the money (around 200 at BRU) because it can hold up to a 55lb child comfortably. My DD is 5 and still fits in her Mac Volvo (this one doesn't recline). They manuver well with one hand and you don't break your back pushing it because the handles are at a perfect lenghth! Even my DH loves this brand of stroller:) they come in fun trendy colors too including pink I believe.

I have a Joovy Groove & absolutely love it! I purchased mine new off of ebay shortly before our Feb 08 Disney trip. It has everything you are looking for! The recline function on the Joovy is amazing, you just push a button & choose the level you want to recline. My ds is a good stroller napper so this was a must have function. I have tons of pictures if you are interested, I can email some to you. I took pictures of various things, like what it looks like folded, because I had a hard time finding pics of it. Let me know!!

I started a ``Best Disney Stroller Poll`` earlier, and based on what I have read and all the helpful reviews... I am chosing the Baby Jogger Citi Mini, Hands Down:worship: to that one it seems FANTASTIC!!!! ..lol now if only I could find it in BabiesRUs in Canada :surfweb: lollll I don't mind though, Ill buy it when I go to USA:cheer2:

Baby Jogger City Series....had the Maclaren & Peg Perego and Baby Jogger is by far the best stroller yet.

I bought a Perego P3 at www.albeebaby.com last year for my niece to use at WDW. We tried out the Maclarens but would have to get the Quest to get all the features that the P3 had.

It has extendable handles, large canopy, tray for child, reclines, basket underneath, two position foot rest and a foot board at the back.

My niece was 44" tall and had lots of room. She also slept in it quite a few times.

The combi is so worth it. Light weight, foldable, and seems to be comfortable our dd 3 loves hers. We took it to WDW in March of this year and it worked wonderful. The strap allows you to carry it easily when it is folded. It does recline and it is easy to clean. I would recommend attaching a fanny pack to the back because there is only one "cup holder" and we found a fanny pack to wrap around stroller handles that had a bottle holder on either side. The little storage bin on the bottom is tiny but I would sacrifice that for all the other features.

I sent you a PM with a bunch of pictures of the Joovy. Let me know if I can help any more! :thumbsup2

CitiMini by a long shot; I've had a peg-perego aria, a McClaren quest, and others, and the baby jogger citimini beats them all by a mile!

This is the stroller we're getting for our upcoming Disney trip. We test drove it at the store and really like the handling, plus it's alot lighter than our other two strollers (Chicco Cortina Travel System & Jeep Jogger), so it's perfect for these kind of trips! :thumbsup2

Will be using a BRU 15% off coupon on top of that; so will come out to roughly $144.

Yep, me too! LOVE the P3! My 3.5 year old fits comfortably and so does my 10 month old. I got the previous year's model for significantly less than full price at albeebaby.com.

Yes, but the poster wants to stay under $200.

The Joovy Groove is pricing between $198-$229 plus shipping and you can get the baby jogger city mini for $209-$229 with Free shipping so they come out to about the same price.

I could go over $200 if I really loved it, and both the Groove and the BJCM seem to get great reviews. Just curious...where did you see the BJ for $209? It seems like everywhere I look its $229.

Thank you ALL for the suggestions! I'm still deciding, so any suggestions or votes for the ones already mentioned would be great! Thanks! :goodvibes

Thanks! :thumbsup2 Not sure how I feel about the brown, but it might work. I'll keep an eye on albeebaby and see if the others go on sale too.

Thanks again for the help!

I ordered this and had it within 3 days. Best stroller I have ever had!!!! Meets all your requirements except the basket is not that big. I bought a bag at BRU for under 20 bucks and it works fine. Even can stay on while it is folded.
