Stroller recommendations please!

We just found these strollers yesterday,

and are thinking of ordering 2 in pink for my BF's nieces (3 & 4), who we're taking to WDW this fall. Each stroller holds up to 45lbs and right now their on sale for $55 each. Judging from the pictures it folds up very small and is lightweight with a shoulder strap!
We considered just renting a double stroller, but this seems like it might work out cheaper. Plus we can use it in the airport, the resort and downtown disney, which I think will be a real life saver for all involved.
After the trip we'll probably either e-bay it or give it to friends who are expecting.

I don´t know how much do your nieces weight, but my experience with Combi strollers is that they are useless after 2 years old, they are impossible to push, the seat is very narrow, making kids uncomfortable, and at least our model had the foot bar so high that when my dd fell asleep her feet dangled on the side and rubed the wheels, stopping the stroller constantly.

At the time my dd was only 2 and 34 lbs, and the stroller was so bad that we ended renting a stroller from abbf.

Go with a Maclaren.

Ok, now I'm even more confused so I have a question. Just how far are the bus stops from the parks? For example, if we're at MK, how far is the bus stop from the exit of the park? I think that would play a big role in my decision whether to bring my own or rent.

It is a bit of a walk to some of the bus stops. Especially in a crowd. If you are staying at a value hotel- forget it. You will have one of the last bus stops. When we stayed at POP, it seemed like we were always at bus stop 29 out of 29!!!! Thats one of the reasons I said no more values!! Anyway, the bus stop seems like MILES if you are carrying a heavy sleeping 5 year old!!! Thats why taking our own stroller works best for us. There is no problem getting it on the bus. Our Volo folds up so small- just like any umbrella stroller. You wouldnt experience frustration with umbrella strollers. I agree, on the other hand, that a big bulky stroller on the bus would be quite cumbersome. We have always had compact strollers for our trips. Just wish we had the Volo all along.

I hear you. That's one of the reasons we didn't want to stay at a value resort too. I think we'll stick to renting the strollers. Half the time we bring them somewhere and the kids just want to push the stroller rather than ride in it.

I too am between renting and bringing a stroller. I have 2 kids ages 7 and 4 1/2. They never use a stroller at home but they absolutely need one in WDW.

My husband doesn't mind lugging our Graco DuoGlider which is heavy but I'm thinking since we don't need it anywhere else except the parks that we should just rent one while we're there.

I'm thinking we should get the stroller in the morning and get a length of stay so we save some money........ now I'm wondering if we should let the kids walk around and then stop to get it later in the afternoon when they start getting tired any whiney.

Anyone have any experience one way or the other?

Does your 7 yo still fit into the DuoGlider? We lugged our DuoGlider around on our 1st trip when our boys were 2 & 4. Now that they will be 6 & 7 at our next trip, they definitely do not fit into that stroller. Plus we added a little sister so we will definitely be getting the double stroller.

I think it's best to get it first thing in the morning so you don't have to worry about getting it later. I bet you they will jump right in! Mine fought who would get to ride first with their sister.

I agree with Disneyolic, get it right at the start. My kids were about the same age as yours and though my DS didn't want to be in it right away he did eventually and he was 81/2. My DD was in it from the minute we got it to the end of the day. Plus it gives you a spot to put some of your stuff instead of having to carry it. Just get a length of stay ticket and you'll save $2 a day and only have to hit the pay line once.

As for the distance from park to stop it was a haul at some and not at others. We were at the All-Star Sports and generally the only stops after that were the other All-Stars and Pop, so it was a walk in the crowds with the DD wanting to be carried if she was tired. It might have been easier to have one for her, but I still feel having to drag a stroller with us everywhere we went would have driven me nuts. But I do see the point of it would depend on what kind of stroller you were trying to drag with you.
