Hello,

I have a couple questions about renting stollers. If we get park hopper tickets, WHAT do we do with the (off site) stroller that we rented? Can we bring it on the monorail with us? Does it fold up? Will it fit in the back of our SUV? Is it big enough to store stuff underneath it? Does it have a shade thingy?

Please help!

Thanks!

Each park has a stroller renting station. When you leave one park you simply turn that stroller in and when you get to the next you show them your paper and they will give you another stroller...therefore you do not have to travel with them (buses and monorails). The do have shades and a small net on the back for carrying things. I would recommend that you bring a bandana or a ribbon with you to tie around the handle b/c when you have to "park" it to go into shows or rides then you come out and there are 500 strollers that all look the same. Put something on it so it is easily recognizable. We took our own the first year and it was such a pain with traveling. We love the rental strollers...my kids are 5 and 2 and they both fit and were very comfortable!

You must be renting from www.abbf.com?

We always bring our own, but having an offsite rental would work the same way since you don't have to leave it behind at the park.

Yes, you can take them on the Monorail. We've never had to fold ours when going on the Monorail but I suppose during really busy times that might be the appropriate thing to do. We usually travel off season so that's never been a big issue for us.

As far as the ammenities of the stroller - go to the website linked above and they have pics of their rentals. The stroller will fold, and it should have a basket and a canopy (shade thingy lol). :)

How big the basket is depends on the stroller. I've never rented one so don't know. We use an umbrella style stroller and put our belongings in a backpack so when we leave the stroller we can just grap the bag off the stroller handles and go. We try not to use the basket if at all possible. This also makes boarding the bus or tram much easier when leaving the park.

Relax, you'll have a great time!
