Stroller Questions - Rent/Bring Own -Double/Single

We will be in Disney in November. I have 2 DS ages 2 and 4. My older DS is tall and should be able to go on most rides but DS2 will probably be under 38". With that being said, I don't know if I should bring my own double stroller from home or rent one so that I don't need to really worry about it too much. Just worried about having no stroller in the airport. I am also confused as to whether I should get 2 singles or one double. The singles would be better if we want to split up but then 2 adults will always be wheeling a stroller. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

We rented a double last year and I am planning on renting again. We drive though and just don't have room to pack our double and all our stuff, so you may find bringing your own would work out better. The stroller we rented was much nicer than the one we own so that might be a consideration. Having a very nice stroller definitely made it easier to navigate. It was very convenient to pick it up at the front desk when we checked in and drop it off as we checked out. It is nice to have a stroller in the airport though... I would definitely recommend getting a double over 2 singles. I think having both adults having to push strollers all the time would drive you crazy eventually. You probably won't really be splitting up that often. Your kids ages are close enough that they will enjoy mostly the same things. If you have 2 singles it would make it impossible or at least super difficult for 1 adult to take both kids.

We usually buy a used one, travel with it, and then sell it afterwards. Costs almost nothing in the end, and gives us a stroller through the airport. Even if it get's trashed at the parks, we are out less than a week of rental.
