We plan to take our own stroller to Disneyworld. I understand that you can walk around in the parks and parking lots but not on buses, monorail, boat rides,etc.. If I fold the stroller can I take it with me on the monorail, buses, boat rides?

You most certainly can!

Actually if the boats or monorails are not at all packed I just wheel the storller right on with my son in it! Think about it they have to be able to accomodate wheelchairs.

The buses you obviuosly have to fold up your stroller since there is not much room.

You need to fold it up on the monorail and bus. You can wheel it right on to the ferry. I take the ferry for that reason. Just wheel the babe right on. Even though the monorail may be faster it is a hassle to fold up and take the babe out. I have never seen DW at a time where you can wheel the stroller on to the monorail with a child in it without inconveniencing other passengers.
Don't worry and have fun!

We have been with a double stroller many times and have always been able to push the stroller onto the monorail with the kids in it. It doesn't take up any more space than closing it and taking 2 extra seats or standing room for the two kids. It has never been a problem. The only time we have to fold it is on the busses. Sometimes we do monorail to ferry or vise versa going a bit out of the way just to not have to unload the stroller and fold it up.

We've also taken the stroller right onto the monorail without folding many, many times. We've never had a problem at all. However, we do go during the off-season and are often the only people in our monorail car. If it was crowded, you would probably need to fold it.
