IS IT BETTER TO BRING A REAL STROLLER WITH A SHADE OR ONE OF THOSE POP UP WHATEVER YOU CALL IT CHEAP STROLLERS? I AM STAYING OFF PROPERTY AND WILL BE DRIVING TO THE PARKS, SO I DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DISNEY TRANSPORTATION. ALSO, WHEN YOU BUY SOUVENEIRS...WHAT TO YOU DO WITH THEM? DO PEOPLE STEAL FROM YOUR STROLLERS...OR STEAL THE STROLLERS????:wizard:

I think it depends on the age of the child. I certainly think if your child is young having their own stroller that they are used to is a great help. One that reclines well for naps and has a good shade. With an older child this may be less of an issue and a cheper one may do.
I would try leaving buying souveneirs until later in the day as I personally would not leave anything in my stroller that I would not want to loose. I take anything valuable with us to the attractions. We also use a small bike lock to attach one of the wheels to its chassis to stop someone rolling away with it as its not a cheap stroller!

I would bring a real stroller. Try Orlando Stroller rental if you do not want to travel with one they deliver and never leave anything in a stroller unattended. Maybe someone else can verify this but I think you can have things sent to the front of the park for pick up on your way out.

If you are staying on site, have purchases sent to your hotel room. This won't work if it is your last day and you've checked out.

If you are staying off site, have purchases sent to the front gate, I think it is guest services? Anyway, you can do this until the last hour or two before closing.

Both of those are free services, and you don't have to carry stuff around all day nor worry about it getting stolen.

I would either bring your own nice one, or rent one there. We have left lots of things in all of our strollers over the years, and I'm happy to report no one ever touches our things.... sometimes the cast members do move your stroller at rides and such, but so far all aboard has stayed aboard... We tried brining a cheap folding stroller twice, and it was soooo bad... Hard to push for so long, not good if the child fell asleep, and worst of all I kicked that bar of the bottom the entire day and there isn't anywhere to put things.

We were there last week during school vacation. We rented one for our 5 year old. We rented it for 5 days for $69.00 at the parks. You get 5 tickets to use for the whole time you are there you don't have to pay daily. However, what I wish we would have done was just buy the ones they have at the park. They are a nice red one that actually reclines with high handles. They were selling for $50.00 at the board walk gift store and downtown disney. I think they were a bit more at the park. But, this way you don't have to take the child out and walk to the bus or your transportation as you exit the park. We so wish we had just bought one and than we could have taken it home!

We bring a stroller with a shade. Also, we don't leave anything in the stroller that we wouldn't want stolen. So we bring with us our bag of souvenirs, etc. We have a canvas bag that we attach to the stroller that makes it easy to just grab and take with us.
