It looks like I have missed out on any double stroller swaps for my dates (4/5-4/10), so I am wondering if my regular double stroller is goig to be way to bulky and cumbersome for the parks? It is the standard Graco front/back double stroller. It has survived all five children, so it has def. seen better days. I am not sure if trying to use it is a good idea, but I know wth my 2 year old and my 4 year old we will need something.

I'm not using our double stroller yet so there maybe someone else better suited to answer or I'd post your question on the family board but I think the only inconvenience part would be on the buses. We've never been in April but I think you'll be going at a busier time and so you may find it hard (but not impossible) to squeeze the family and a double stroller on the bus. I would definitely use it rather than spend the cost to rent one in the parks but just keep in mind your bus rides may not be the best part of your trip and you'll be fine. Have fun on your first time in WDW!

Sorry that you missed out on the double stroller swaps. You're going at a busy time and I guess they got spoken-for pretty early.

I'm going to move this thread over to the Disney for Families forum. I'm sure that someone there can tell you whether your type of stroller will be easy to handle at WDW.

i don't think it will be a problem around the parks. we are planning to bring a graco duo when we go next year. our biggest concern is fitting it in the hotel room and getting on and off the buses. dh is fairly strong though so that's definitely his job. :) bring what you need for your kids - you don't want them having melt downs just because they aren't comfy.

I think you'd be a lot happier with your own stroller than the park rental ones. I was just at WDW and the rentals are a lot smaller than they use to be.

Are you staying on site? Getting on the bus will be a challenge but worth it because then you'll have the stroller to get the little ones to/from the park entrance-especially when everyone is tired at the end of the day.

If you're renting a car it is a bit of a challenge to get a double stroller in the trams that bring you from the parking lot to park entrance but again worth the effort.

As for getting around in the parks I've never really had a problem with that while using a double stroller and it will actually help because you'll know exactly where 2 of your kids are and the older 2 can hold onto the stroller.

Thank you! I meant to post there. That is the danger of evening posing, right?

Thanks everyone for you input and advice.
