Not really. There is a mesh bag that hangs on the back, but it really couldn't fit a backpack or anything that large. A small cooler bag, most likely.

This is the stroller @ MK but it is the same style for all of the parks. The only thing they have for storage is a small compartment maybe big enough to put a couple of drinks in.

We have always put the back pack up on top on the sade. If the cooler was not too large and had a long strap you might be able to put the strap around the handle. It would be tough so I would not plant on being able to do it. We have always taken in small cooler bags that would fit in a back pack.

Rent the double, more $$$ but worth it. DS sits on one side and backpack and small cooler (enough for 4 bottles of water) sit on the other.
