We are planning a trip in August. Our daughter will be 13 months when we go. I need a new stroller anyway. We've been using hand me downs so I don't feel guilty about getting a decent stroller that I like. It needs to be a lightweight, travel stroller with a large canopy to keep the sun off that reclines and folds up umbrella style so I can carry it on the bus.

I've looked at the Macs and the Combi's however, I'm starting to get overwhelmed. I don't which one to pick.

I am 5 2 and hubby is 6 4. High handlebars are a must or can I get the extensions for hubby? Storage for the diaper bag and a blanket would be nice too as would a cup holder. However, I'll get a separate cup holder if I have to.

Thanks in advance.

I really love my Peg Perego Pliko P3 that we got for our last Disney trip. I used it and a Mac Volo but the P3 was best for my younger child. It fully reclines, the canopy will come all the way down for complete coverage, the basket is a decent size, the snack tray is a must have and the umbrella fold rocks with getting on and off of the Disney buses. I also loved to have the foot pegs for one of my older kids to hop on. I have had quite a few strollers over the years and this was the most pricey, but also the most worth it.

I also got a Skip Hop Duo diaper bag to attach to the handles and the handy little net bottle holder on it works great as an adustable cup holder. The P3 does comes with a little cup holder but I didn't use that at all and didn't even put the thing on the stroller. Do check the P3 out if you haven't already. I almost went with a Mac Techno for my second stroller but glad someone recommend the P3 to me before I did. The Macs are great for older kids, but for 13 months I think your baby will be more comfy in the P3. JMO :hippie:

Ditto everything kizmac said! It sounds like the P3 would be a great choice for you.

IMHO the only thing really lacking is the size of the parent cupholder, a little small for big drinks...but like you posted, this can be supplemented. The Skip Hop is great on it, or actually any bag that has D-rings is awesome because you can use carabiner clips on these ingenious little loops on the handles. My new favorite cupholder option is the Demi-Milan by Carry You (carryyou.com), I haven't paired it with a Skip Hop or other bag yet, but alone it is great on the P3 (tried it for a mall trip this past weekend).

We love our P3 - comfy ride, easy to steer and push, great recline, and the upright can go pretty straight upright (some are so reclined in the full upright position and my DS isn't nuts about that), the sunshade is awesome too! The fold takes a little getting used to but is easy once you have it down...oh and I love that it stands up on its own when it is folded.

Happy shopping!

Another vote for the P3 here. We brought a Maclaren Twin Traveller and the P3 to WDW with us last August for our 3 boys (5, 2 and 9 months). They all fought over who got to sit in the P3 (of course the baby always won). We plan on taking 2 P3s with us on our summer trip this year. Try Ebay for some better prices, or the Yahoo stroller swap group. We have a Combi that we never use because of the height of the push bar. Guess I should Ebay it one of these days.... I would have stared with the P3 instead of working up to it if I had only known better back in the day.......
