We will be taking our DD18mos in Sept for her first trip! DH and I have been 3 times, but as young childless adults never paid attention to the stroller parking :rolleyes1 but now I am planning our trip and would love to know! We are bringing our own stroller, so I would like to have an idea of where the parking areas are as compared to the rides we would go on. :cool1: Thanks for the help!

I remember one near the Sarfari in AK, but thats it!:rotfl2:

There are plenty of stroller parking area around the various attractions. You just have to look for them. For example in Fantasyland, there is an area in front of Disney Philharmonic and another area next to the Small World entrance. Make sure your stroller is easily marked as cast members will move them around in the area to maximize the number of strollers that can fit at the location. Have a great trip!

Trust me, you will see the stroller parking. I don't think I've ever seen a Disney attraction that didn't have a sea of strollers very nearby. And when in doubt, just ask the Cast Member at the entrance to the attraction.

One thing to remember about The Land in Future World - no strollers are allowed inside so you will have to leave it outside the pavilion entirely.

and tie a ribbon - bright and colorful on your stroller so you can spot it in the sea of strollers! I used a red bandana last year - and was always able to find it! Sometimes the CMs have to move the strollers to fit more in - so your stroller might be moved to another spot than where you left it (no worries - not across the park - just a different spot in the same area)

just don't leave anything of value on the stroller when you park it. there are no guarantees

There are no stroller parking icons on the maps.

parking not right in front of attractions: @MK

parking for IASW, PPF, is combined toward end of Fantasyland area as swafay94 mentioned if looking on map it's by the brown building to the west of IASW

parking for HM is across from it on the side of the Columbia Harbour House

parking for Buzz, laugh factory, and peoplemover is all at the base of the peoplemover

@ AK you can keep your stroller for a portion of the queue for Safari (like you saw they take it and park it) you pick it up same spot just path on other side.

parking for the main shows is back from the entrances to the theatres

some other helpful tips/ideas :idea::

purchase an extra poncho for your stroller...if you park your stroller and it looks like possible rain cover it while you are inside a show for instance so it doesn't get soaked. (BTW when we traveled w/ out 18 mo I bought a little rain jacket for her to wear and when it rained could put the poncho over the stoller w/ the head opening at her face to keep the stroller and her even more dry :thumbsup2)

whatever park bags you are packing...we had 1 bag we left in the stroller w/ snacks, changing things, various misc things and then had another bag we'd carry on to each ride that had all money, cameras, tickets...that kind of stuff

Thanks I will note that on my 3x5 cards!

Ah, right, I remember seeing a SEA of strollers outside :rotfl2: Is this the same for the SEA's pavilion? or can we exit nemo and get the stroller and go back in to see the fish?

They should have listed the parking on the maps! Don't they know crazy people like me wanna plan EVERYTHING! I was hoping someone like ROBO might have made a map of them!:rotfl2:

I didn't know you could keep your stroller for part of the queue for the safari!:thumbsup2

Poncho-Check! We also bought a rain cover for the stroller that snaps on!
Rain jacket for our DD-Check
we also a mesh stroller bag that hooks on the handels to leave snacks, sippy cups and a few diapers in, that way people can see whats in it, if they wanna take a $1.75 sippy cup be my guest! and we will take our backpack with the "real goods" with us on the rides!

Thanks for the tips!

The CMs will likely move your stroller at least a few times during your trip. Usually, they just rearrange them to keep them neat, but they will also move them from one parking "lot" to another. Your stroller has most likely not been stolen; you may just have to look a bit further for it.

Also, they close some of the stroller parking areas throughout the day. So even though you were allowed to park there earlier does not mean that you can park there now. (I'm sure there must be a logical reason why they would make a poor CM stand near the entrance to POTC to tell families that they must park their strollers in the pouring rain instead of under the covered stroller parking area. )

Does anyone else know of any stroller parking locations?

I believe there is one in fantasmic, which they move your strollers around to a different side during the show?
