Stroller Parking - Is there a time limit on leaving your stroller?

I'm debating stroller vs. no stroller for my daughter who will be 5 at the time of our trip next year. She hasn't ridden in a stroller for a while now but I know some people do still recommend bringing a stroller at that age, especially if the kid's not used to that amount of walking. I really think she'll be fine on her own for a majority of the day due to all the excitement so I hate to have to push a stroller all day for nothing but I also don't want to get stuck without a stroller if she gets super tired toward the end of the day.

Right now I'm thinking a great compromise would be to bring our stroller into the park and leave it in stroller parking until it's needed or until we leave. My question though is if there is a time limit on leaving your stroller in stroller parking. I understand that CM will move strollers around as needed to make room and I'm totally fine with that. I just want to make sure we're not breaking any rules or etiquette if we leave our stroller there for a majority of the day.

Thanks!

nope. You can leave them parked until the park closes.

We did this our last trip with our 6yo. We went into Tomorrowland, parked the stroller, did all the attractions, then took the stroller to Fantasyland and parke dit there while we did Storybrook Circus and Fantasyland. She walks most everywhere, but we stayed until park closing and she did need it for the walk out and ride on the monoriel back to GF. She was usually out before we got on the monoriel every night, so the stroller was a lifesaver for her dad :)

That sounds like an excellent plan and exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for the reassurance!

One additional recommendation, is that if you are going to be staying until the final parade or fireworks, to make sure to retrieve your stroller BEFORE the show. It's no fun trying to swim upstream to go acquire a stroller you left in Fantasy Land when everyone else is headed out of the parks. Learned this one the hard way.

I don't think we have plans to stay past dark but if plans change I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks!

We did that last trip with my 5 year old. We went into each land, parked the stroller, did everything we wanted and I moved the stroller with me as I moved onto the next land. She usually rode in the stroller between lands for a quick break. There is no way I could carry her if she got tired (and she did) at the end of the night so it was just much easier to have the stroller with me, parked for most of the day.

I will be doing the same for my DD (5) on our upcoming May trip. Our last trip, DD was 3 and we kept the stroller with us the entire time from ride to ride which at times got to be a little much especially since DD isnt much for sitting in the stroller. Night time was when having the stroller came in VERY handy. DD was so pooped she asked to sit in the stroller which was a great break not only for her but myself and DH. This trip, I feel like the only times we will really need the stroller will be at night but I like the idea of moving it from land to land, keeping up with it during the day.

Just be sure not to leave anything valuable and clearly identify your stroller. One black CityMini looks just like another black CityMini!

The CM's move the strollers around in the stroller parking areas so don't be surprised if it's not exactly where you left it. Having something attached to make it stand out helps you find it in the sea of strollers.

If you want a personalized Stroller Tag, go to the Creative DISigners section of disboards. I had a fabulous lady named Marion personalize one for free. You need to look at her photobucket page, find one you like, respond to her post with the exact jpeg you want along with the name(s) you want. I had it printed out and laminated so it will hang from the stroller handle!

Yup.....
We had our Granddaughters stroller moved at the Living Seas last May.
This year we're going to make it "One of a kind" so it will be easier to spot. :-)

As my son has gotten older he spends more and more time walking; so we do generally park it and do everything in the area then come back for it. In each land in MK, in each area of DHS. You can do a lot with the stroller parked in that courtyard area. In each area up front at Epcot as they aren’t allowed inside the land pavilion or seas pavilion anyway. We keep it with us in World Showcase and pretty much keep it when we are in Animal Kingdom. Just remember one other thing. If there’s even one cloud in the sky cover the stroller when you park it. Learned that one the hard way.

And put the sun shade down over the seat at least when you give it to the CM at the stroller parking on the Safari. There are a lot of birds around the area and you don't want your kid sitting on it before you notice a bird has left you a present.

Hahaha...best advice yet! :)

Is there a map that shows where all the stroller parking locations are? I did a Google search but it didn't turn up anything useful.

Oh another thing about the Safari stroller parking is they have two areas with a little gate between them. So if you don't find it in the first area of strollers after exiting the ride, go to the next one. I thought someone had stolen the stroller the first time, as I didn't know there were two areas.
