I've posted it before, and I'll post it again: There is an alternative to the $$$ Maclaren for older kids. It is made by Avalon, a Canadian company, and I found it at Baby Depot (in Burlington Coat Factory). It reclines, steers very easily (almost as well as the Mac--I tested them ALL out with DD in them at Babies R US!), is tall enough that my 6'2" DH doesn't kick the wheels when pushing it, has a canopy, and has a weight limit of 45 pounds. My 4 y/o DD (she's 42" tall and weighs 41 lbs) fit in it very comfortably. It's only $29. If you don't have a Burlington Coat Factory near you, you can buy it from them online:

I don't know why NOBODY on these boards listens to my posts about this wonderful stroller!

I guess everyone WANTS to pay $100 or more for a Mac--probably just because they come in cute fabrics.

Me, I say save my money, I'll go for the budget find that works just as well but may not be as pretty.
