stroller on the train at MK?

Can anyone tell me if this is true? I read elsewhere that you can take a foldable stroller on the walt disney world train at the MK. Has anyone done this? Does it have to be a certian size like an umbrella or can you bring a standard one aboard?

Never done it, but it would be helpful...

We took our standard one on board but it took up alot of space, so we bought a smaller one for this trip. They do have places where you can park your stroller if you are going to ride the train the whole time and not exit in a different land, but we always use the train to get from point A to point B that's why we take ours onboard.

That's my thought to ultilize the train to get to Frontierland and then to Toontown. I knew you could park and ride, but didn't want to be stranded half-way around the park and carrying our DD # 3 who will be 18 mo when we go in 08.

We used an umbrella stroller and it was a snap to get on and off the train. We also used a large jansport packpack instead of the under seat basket. It was easy to sling over the handles when using the stroller or our back while getting on/off transportaion. We also didn't have to worry about leaving anything valuable in the stroller while it was parked.

We took our standard single stroller on the train and sat in the first section, which is wider because it has seats facing each other (as far as I can remember). We did not have a problem with the stroller at all.

be advised that none of the cast at the train will help you with your stroller or anything. It was us our umbrella and our 2 sleeping kids... getting through the turn style with teh pushing masses behind us and 2 sleeping kidletts and a folded stroller was difficult and then getting into the seats was also a little challangeing both arms full

get on before the kidletts fall asleep

Another vote for the umbrella stroller and backpack. For us, it makes moving around the park so much easier.
