Stroller on cruise?

Of course you can! Try to keep in mind the size limitations with width since side by side strollers don't fit well into the elevators or through the halls at times. Bring one that your child is comfy in though many will tell you to only use an umbrella stroller. There is no way my kids could have napped in one of those. A sleeping baby/child is a good thing...much better than one who is fussy and irritable. ;) We used strollers for the kids until they were 6 & 8 at dinner a couple nights because they would crash around 4:30/5 and we had 6:00 dinner. We did what we had always done on cruises when this happened. We dressed them for dinner while sleeping and put them each in a stroller and went to dinner. The strollers went at the end of the table or against the wall and when they woke up about an hour into dinner, the servers quickly got their dinners, they ate and enjoyed the show and the rest of the night with the rest of us. :)

I can bring a stroller on the cruise right?

Yes, you can as stated above. Just wanted to add that you cannot park them outside your stateroom as they are a hazard (and also kids will roll them down to the next elevator lobby on you! ;) ).

A good place to park a stroller that is not easy to fold/unfold is in the bathtub when it is not in use. That way it is not in your way and you can move around your room easier.

Thank you for this advice. My DH and I were just debating whether or not to bring the stroller. He doesn't want to drag another piece of item and I wanted to. I think its a good idea.

The key is your child's comfort, and you not having a broken back, LOL!

Slight hijack here...we were thinking about taking our umbrella stroller but won't need it immediately. Will the porters take an umbrella with a luggage tag on it and have it delivered with the luggage?

TIA!

If you wish, there are great, roomy all-terrain strollers available to rent on the ship. You put down a $200 deposit and get it back when you return the stroller. We thought it was fabulous and was our saving grace at ports and Castaway Cay for our three year old son. It was a bit of a pain to store in the room, but well worth it! (never thought of storing it in the tub...good idea!)...and nice that we didn't have to haul our own stroller to the ship and then back home again...we had enough to carry!!! LOL!!!

Let me add the recommendation for a cheap umbrella stroller. I have two kids, have traveled with both the big strollers that are popular these days and umbrella strollers, and I wish I had discovered the umbrella strollers a few years earlier!

A $20 umbrella stroller is cheap enough that you won't care about the damage it is bound to receive being handled by baggage personnel, and small enough to not be a significant addition to the luggage load.

I'm all for strollers and used them at WDW, both my own and rentals for years.

Was a bit annoyed on my recent cruise on the Wonder. We were forward on deck 7. There were 2 staterooms that frequently left there their double strollers outside in the hall.....not just for a minute....all night long. It definitely inhibited traffic and was difficult for the stewards in that area because they had to adjust where their linen carts could park.

I did not complain because I only had to deal with it twice....but I would have never done that when my kids were young enough for a stroller.

Good Luck--
