Stroller help

Since you said "cheap"-I saw one at K-Mart yesterday-umbrella with a really nice sized sunshade. The basket underneath, while not huge, was as big as any I've seen on any brand umbrella/lightweight stroller and a lot bigger than some I've seen.
It was on a high shelf, and since I'm no longer in the market for a stroller (just bought one to take to WDW 2 weeks ago) I didn't take it down to check the recline or how it folds.
It had a snack tray with cupholder for baby, but I didn't see a cupholder for mom/dad, but again, it was on a shelf and I didn't look that closely, since I'm no longer in the market for one.
I can say I wish I had seen this one before I bought ours, because at $50, it was a lot cheaper than the one I bought and had features (like the snack tray) that mine doesn't. I certainly would have looked at it closely to see if it would have worked for us.

My mom just got a really cute stroller at Costco. It's made by Strolee and it's super light, reclines, has a sunshade, and folds easily. It actually folds up like a Combi so it doesn't take up much room. The stroller is bright red so it would be very easy to spot in a stroller parking area. I've never taken a full size stroller for travelling, and my son has always been comfortable and able to nap in his travel stroller.

OT but how do you like your Vista. I want to replace my full size stroller and the Vista looks so user friendly.

Thanks for all the replies thus far. I'm still debating what to get, but will be able to get to a store with more strollers to try out sometime soon. I hoping to figure out a few good options and then find one on craigslist, ebay, etc. Thanks for all the suggestions of ones to look at and try!

One more question, though. Do you think it's important to get a really lightweight one? We're staying on property and using the bus to get around. Is lightweight more important than more full featured? I'm leaning towards a lightweight one, so I can spend a little more on it and then use it as my car stroller after, but the ones that would have a better basket and a few more features seem to weigh more. WWYD?

princess pooh: We love our Vista. It's great for walks and such. LO loves riding in it and I've def been spoiled by the basket. I go grocery shopping with it and can get quite a bit in there and then walk home. But I def don't like how heavy and big it is. We have a small car and we can't fit it in our car with much else. Never enough room to take it on a trip, b/c it takes our entire trunk and then there's no room for a suitcase. I'd say it's perfect if you walk a lot and want something sturdy. I feel like it can handle just about anything. Although I wouldn't rec it if you're thinking of taking it in the car a lot. Getting it in and out of the car a lot is a PAIN! Which is why I'm looking for a car stroller now. Oh, and although I love it, I wish I hadn't spent so much on it. I've seen used ones for good prices that I would snatch, but I wish I hadn't paid full price for it. HTH.

IMO, no, lightweight is not more important than full-featured. You're only going to spend a couple of mins a day taking it on and off the buses, but your LO will be spending the entire day in it and you're going to spend the entire day pushing it, so to me, the features are much more important.

My favorite stroller to take to WDW was my Peg Aria. It was really lightweight, had a comfy seat that reclined, a decent sized basket for storage, a big canopy for sun protection, and it could be folded with one hand. It also had a snack tray with cup holder for baby. It came with an adult cup holder, but it was always falling off, so we didn't use it.

I brought this stroller on many WDW trips, including our trip last month. Sadly, during our trip DS got sick in the stroller and we had to get rid of it. We bought one of the reclining umbrella strollers that Disney sells. It's a decent stroller, but I liked my Aria better. If DS were younger, I'd buy another Aria to replace the one we had to throw out. But DS is 3.5 and doesn't use a stroller too often (outside of WDW), so I really have no need for another stroller.
