We are leaving in 6 days   and taking our 9 month old baby for his first time. We have a large Evenflo stroller (the kind that the car seat / carrier will snap into). Is it too big? I know I read somewhere a couple of months ago that Disney has restrictions on the size of the stroller allowed in the park and it gave dimensions, but now I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know the restrictions or has anyone taken a stroller this size with no problems? Thanks in advance for any help!! :goodvibes

I am not sure what is posted about the stroller dimensions, however we took a double side by side jogger into the parks with no problem (except that my husband had to lift it above the entrance gates because they weren't wide enough!) Hope this helps.

Your evenflo is fine. Some people like to take lightweight/smaller strollers because it is easier to get on the bus, monorail, etc. I took my full size travel system type stroller when my DD was 9 mths because I wanted the big shade protector (we went in July) and it was fine, but we drove to the parks so I can't say about getting on the bus with it.

When you take a stroller, you will have to unpack it (and remove the kiddo) whenever you get on a bus. Even the monorail won't let you keep the kids in the stroller all the times. Depends on how crowded the monorail is and the number of wheelchairs and scooters on it. Keep your stroller small and your life less complex.

I am so stroller dependent! I feel more organized with my own stroller. There are places to park the strollers outside most lines for rides/restaurants. Baby will need to "disembark" when you get in line. (that part gets hard- baby is happy to be free but then you are standing in line) We took the dbl graco last trip. It was a huge hassle on the busses, but for everything else it was great! It was comfy enough for naps. When the quick, yet soaking rains came, we put all 3 kids in the stroller, covered it with a poncho (held in place by clothes pins) and they stayed dry and happy! We called the sroller our work horse! We will take it again in Dec, mostly because I anticipate layers in the am & pm and I don't want to carry jackets all afternoon. And then where would I put the ponchos, snacks, sm toys to entertain with in lines, hand wipes.... did I mention I am stroller dependent? Have a great trip!

The strollers that are a problem are the "bike trailer" kind that have been converted with a back handlebar. They restrict them because the bar in front where it attaches to a bike is a dangerous trip hazard.
