Stroller Friendly?

I'm debating whether to bring our stroller to Universal this summer. My youngest is 4 and hasn't used a stroller at home in years, but we generally bring one to WDW. I'm tempted to bring it because it'll be so hot and I don't want DH to end up carrying my son around. Also, it's been convenient to have a place to stow water bottles, sunscreen, ponchos, etc.

But I have a friend who says Universal is a really difficult place to bring a stroller. Narrow walkways, and crowed areas, apparently? So I'm just checking to see how stroller-friendly (or not) Uni is compared to WDW. Will we regret bringing one? (small, single stroller).

I see quite a few strollers at Universal. Certainly no narrow walkways to speak of.... It definitely can get crowded, as any theme park can...

The only place it might be tricky is in the HP-area shops - They're teeny!

The only other thing I might consider is that there tend not to be as many little ones at Universal as there are at WDW. It's possible that you might find that people are not as aware/conscious of strollers as they're moving through the parks... I'm not sure I would want to be pushing a stroller, personally. But you know your little guy better than us!

agree with snoopboop that the potter shops are small and having a stroller in there is not easy.

an umbrella stroller is not bad but the regular size strollers are tough to use especially in the shop that sells the candy..

outside strollers not an issue.

I just got back from visiting Universal with my 5 month old and we had no issues at all using our stroller. We used a baby jogger vue lite which is technically considered an umbrella stroller. We decided to go with that one for the weight as we were bringing it on a plane but I think a regular stroller would have been just fine in the parks. It was great because it kept our daughter out of the sun.

Agree with all above. Absolutely no issues. We always used a full size stroller and it's never a problem.
