We just got back from Disney in May and plan to return May 2006.

My now 3 year old weighs 40 lbs and I definitely still want a stroller for Disney next year. What stroller have a high weight limit?

Thanks!

:flower2: :flower2: Maclaren Volo. We bought one a few months ago for our DD6 1/2 for our next trip in Nov. We also needed one with a high weight limit. Our DD is petite and weighs 45 pounds now. It pushes so easy with her in it. I love this stroller. I know it is a bit more, but a GREAT investment!! Wish I had seen these YEARS ago!! :flower2: :flower2:

Definitely MacLaren. We bought one a few months ago for our Disney trip and it worked perfect. I have a heavy 5 year old (65 pounds) and it had wide seats and pushed super easy. We got the Twin Rally because I also have a 3 year old. They loved it, well worth the money.

I just bought a Maclaren Rally Twin and I love it so far!!! I bought it after reading all of the great reviews on it here on the DIS. It is made to hold 2 children up to 55lbs each. I have a DD 5 who weighs 41lbs and a DS 2.5 who weighs 30lbs. Our last stroller was a nightmare! I could not turn it and pushing was a whole lot of work. My Maclaren pushes and stears like a dream I highly recommend it!! :flower:

I just did research on this! I have a (petite) 5 year old who gets lost easily, in her own little world, who whines that she wants daddy to carry her on his shoulders.

I'm going to Disney without DH in Sept/Oct and I definitely want a stroller for her. She's outgrown our current one height-wise so I've been looking into another stroller that will last till at least through to our Oct/Nov 2006 trip when she'll be almost seven.

I went to Babies R Us and tried out all the high weight strollers recommended here in various threads. I loved the MacLaren Quest. It moved so well and she fit in it fine. I liked how it reclined, folded, and that it has a storage area and a canopy and padding. It has a 55 lb capacity and it weights 12lbs.

I didn't want to buy it there for $200. so I did a search on Froogle.com and found it at www.albeebaby.com for $129. free shipping. I can't wait to receive it and use it this Sept/Oct!!

Good luck!

I had same issue two years ago, my DS weighed almost 50lbs. I bought the Maclaren Triumph and I love it!! So does he. He is now 75lbs and it is still a dream. We will be bringing it with us in two weeks...again!! It is well worth the money and I wished I had bought one when he was under a year!
