Stroller for big kid?

My five year-old is 43 lbs and 44" inches tall. I'd like to go stroller-free this trip but we have some long park days and we'll be up super early for marathon runs. So, we're planning to rent a stroller.

Can anyone recommend a good model for big kids? I have to be able to fold it up and carry it on the bus by myself.

Are the park strollers all that bad? They don't look very fun to push...

Do you need the stroller for running?
The City Mini GT has a weight capacity of 65 lbs and can hold a child up to about 47".
Its not a jogging stroller so if you need one, maybe try a BOB?

I second the City Mini GT. My almost six year oldis 45 inches and still very comfortable in it when she needs it.
