Stroller for 5 1/2 year old?

I posted this on Theme Parks but maybe I should have posted here instead. My son is 42 pounds and 42 inches. Hubby does not want to rent. He wants me to find a travel stroller. Stroller is a must for this little man with lazy dragging legs. Sometimes we call him Quazi (Quazimoto-sp?). Should I talk hubby into renting or should I just buy a reasonable travel type? Does anyone have any ideas?
