Maybe someone can answer these questions for me? and build on this FAQ?

Where do you rent strollers?

What types of strollers are available? Umbrella, double etc?

What is the weight limit on Disney's strollers?

What is the cost for these strollers?

If you rent at parks - do you return when you are leaving MK for example, and then have to re-rent at EPCOT, AK etc?

New to WDW stroller system - Taking our first trip with kids!!!! HELP!??!?

Found the answer to most of my questions here.

Has anyone bought a stroller online- and had it SHIPPED TO DISNEY?
Im just thinking this might be so much easier than having to lug it down to Orlando. Totally worth the shipping cost. But then again I might use the stroller in the airport? :confused3

I don't see why you couldn't buy one and ship it to the resort. I know a lot of people ship food, clothes, halloween costumes, etc. to the resort a head of time so I would think you could do it. Although, it would depend on the shipping policies of where you purchase it from. You'd have to make sure they allow you to ship to an address other than the billing address. I would probably call and talk to them. Like you mentioned though, it may be nice to have it in the airport though.

I don't know how old your kids are, but the rentals aren't real great for younger babies. Fantastic for older kids, but expensive....you can buy a really nice stroller for what you'll pay to rent.

One more stroller question. I have looked thru lots of threads and can not find the answer. Do the rental strollers have any type of strorage space?

We are about to take our first trip with our 9MO son. We plan on taking our Graco Metrolight with us. We can hook his car seat into it, it has storage in the bottom and is light weight, but heavy enough not to tip over. I was told that the rental strollers are expensive and not always sanitized so well. I think they have a small basket, but one should never lrave valuables unattended in them. I recall more than one thread where My Pal Mickeys were stollen from parked strollers.

As far as holding the daily purchases, I use a lot of resort delivery/UPS home.

I just hope AA won't make me check the stro;;er, so we can use it in the airport, and to carry his car seat...

Ohanafamily- You will probably be able to roll your stroller to the gate. Just before you step onto the plane, you'll need to fold the stroller and leave it to be put in the baggage hold. The gate agent will tag it, give you a claim check, and you can reclaim it as you get off the plane at Orlando. On another note, it sounds like you're planning on using the carseat inside the stroller. Is this true? If so, I'd like to try to talk you out of doing this while in the parks. First, those seats are designed to restrict movement and are uber padded. Your DC can overheat very easily in one. Second, the AAP advises parents to only use carseat carriers for transportation in a vehicle. You'll have a happier child if you let your 9 mo. old stretch out in her stroller.

To gate check a stroller, ask when you first check in. sometimes they will gfive you a gate check tag then. Sometimes they tell you to get one from that gate agent; if you are told to do that, ask before boarding begins. If you ask at boarding or just leave your stroller at the end of the jetway when you get on, it's more likely that the tag might not nbe filled out correctly.
Before leaving it, fold the stroller and secure it so it doesn't unfold. If you have things that stick out like canopies, cupholders etc. it's best to remove them if they are removeable. That way, they won'tr come off or catch on anything.

The answer to your question is - it depends where you rent the stroller from.

Based on this URL

Guests that rented through the Dolphin got an Evenflo with a storage compartment. The MGM 'jogger strollers' have storage...but you cant really see if the other rental strollers do from the pictures at the above link.
anyone know if epcot, MK & AK stollers have storage space? :confused3

I did something a little more creative. I bought a used, very cheap stroller at a garage sale (actually did this twice, two different trips) for our daughter. Once we were done with it, we just gave it someone coming in the park and didn't worry about dealing with it on the way back. Our DD was 3-4, I had sold our good strollers. I think we spent about $8 on a used one, cheaper than renting for a few days. This obviously won't work for a small child but will if they past toddler age.
