What is the best stroller cover to use?

I have a chicco umbrella stroller (with a built in sun shade) and I bought a cheap cover at Children'sWear (NOT children's PLACE) for like $3.49 or something, a few years back. When we walked for Arthritis in May I dug it out and it fit wonderfully over the stroller. I don't know how it would do on a full size stroller though. I am pretty sure the brand name was Baby King.

I know some people just use ponchos and secure them on with those clips or clothes pins.

Thanks so much. I had no idea what people were really even talking about when they mentioned stroller covers. We unfortunately are taking a full size stroller. Not sure what a standard size stroller is. Guess I need to do a little research. Thanks for your info.

Check out Babies R Us. I ordered a Jeep stroller cover from Walmart and it fit my Maclaren Volo perfectly, so I know it won't fit a full-size stroller.

We've always used a Poncho and clothes pins --- it's been a very successful, and easily packed system! )

great coverage, UV protected, and they come in many sizes. The single fits my Maclaren's, Phil and Ted, and Peg Perego no problems. Double is huge and fits and conforms to Pegs and jogging stroller....

They fold up very easily too

This is the one we bought for last fall. It was great. They come in all different sizes. It was very easy to slip off and on as my daughter would get in and out. Kept everything very dry and gave her plenty of room inside. Also vented for fresh air to circulate inside. She was able to see clearly while riding under the cover.

Definitely a cheap poncho!!! We always have umbrella strollers, so we can fold them up and tuck them under something. If you have a larger stroller, I would recommend the dollar ponchos from Wal-Mart! They work like a charm and you can shake them out to reuse or just toss them! No fuss!

If you have an actual stroller cover, you have to deal with a wet stroller cover that may make the kids really hot inside the stroller! Ponchos have a great hole in them (for the head!) that the kids can get air through (not that the others will suffocate them!). It's just been easier for us with the ponchos!
