Stroller Comfort Tips...please help

We're headed for WDW soon for a week. We purchased a nice jogger stroller (can't remember the brand name) to take with us, because our dd (5) is too big for the stroller she used as a toddler, but she definitely still needs a stroller at the parks.

The jogger has a built in safety harness on the back of the seat that dd doesn't really need. Since we can't move it, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what we might use back there to make it more comfortable. I don't want anything to warm, as we're going in September when it's still very hot there.

Any ideas would be really appreciated. Thanks! :)

anyway you can just extend them and safety pin them to the very top of the seat... above the head area. that way the hard plastic clips wont fall behind your child and poke in the back.

Not sure of the type of straps, but my ds just sits with them behind him. We have a Mac Quest and both of my kids sit with the shoulder part of the harness unattached behind them and don't complain. I have also had this in other strollers and the kids don't seem to mind.

Good luck!

My DD just sits on hers. She has never had a problem and even sleeps. I also took a few recieving blankets and they were life savers at times. I used them to line the seat for more comfort. I also used it to make a little cave with the stroller fan when she fell asleep. It kept all the cool air on her.

Thanks for the ideas, and I never thought of a stroller fan. Excellent idea!

Thanks again everyone...I'll stop worrying now. :sunny:
