Stroller Buggy Boards?

Hi,

I'm expecting twins very soon (!), so during our next trip in October, I'll have 3 kiddos.

We plan on bringing our double stroller for the babies and we were going to just have our 4yo walk. We'd throw her in the stroller and carry/wear one of the babies if she got tired (I expect that to happen often b/c she petite and tires easily).

However, I was thinking of buying a buggy board for her to stand on and just catch a ride.

Has anyone ever used one on a double stroller? I have the Baby Jogger City Mini Double, which I know is a brand new stroller.

I was considering this buggy board by lascal.

I wanted to see if anyone had any experience using a buggy board on a double stroller. Or even on a single stroller-- do the kids like it? Is it tough for them to stand on it?

We have that exact buggy board attached to our Mac Techno. It's great. Both our 2 yo and 5 yo can stand on it no problem. We chose that board as it holds up to 66 pounds (and the 5 yo is already 55 pounds).

Here's something to consider - there's a single handlebar on your stroller and that may not allow a place for a child's head to go while standing on the board. (Our Mac had two individual handles.) You can take the measurements of the board (how far out it comes from the stroller) and lay that out on the floor. Then have your child stand there. Then see where your child's head will be (keep in mind the board is several inches off the ground).

If you need me to go measure how far out the board comes on our stroller, etc. Just let me know.

I think you're right about the handlebar.

We'll probably have to stick with plan A.
