Stroller Bag for Maclaren

When you gate check your stroller do you put it in a carry bag or just let it go?

I was contemplating on buying a stroller bag for my Maclaren Quest.

Is there a generic travel bag that it will fit in or do I have to buy the one specifically made for the Quest?

Opinions appreciated. I just spent a lot of money on this stroller and I want to give it every chance of survival. I have had a stroller damaged on a flight before.

I have the one for the quest...it attaches with velcro and the cup holders do not help at all! It fits cans and only then with struggling.

But the bag part is nice so I would look for a generic one...I want to know which after market cup holders would fit this otherwise great stroller
