stroller as wheelchair...parking at resort restaurants

we plan to rent a double stroller (not from wdw) for our trip rather than bring our older daughters wheelchair (she walks about 85% of the time) AND a stroller for little sister.
what is the procedure for parking a stroller (speciifically a "stroller as wheelchair") at resort restaurants?
DD can walk so there is no need to actually bring the stroller into any restaurant....just wondering where to park/where to ask about parking at OHANA, Whispering Canyon and maybe Boatwrights.

All of the restaurants have a stroller parking area. If you had a single stroller as wheelchair you might be able to bring it to the table. But with the size of any double stroller you would (a) note be able to maneuver between tables and/or (b) you would be blocking aisles which is a safety hazard and not permitted.

Most of the places have parking just outside the door. Just tell them at check in and they will direct you where to put it. One place we ate at had wheelchair parking near the door and stroller parking around the side. When we told them that this was a special needs stroller they put it in the wheelchiar area so we could get to easier.

I had to leave my son's Convaid chair outside at the Plaza restaurant..... I was very nervous leaving it, it costs over $2000.....

Does anyone know if I could at least put a simple bike lock on it (just around the wheels to make it harder to push away/ not to lock it up TO anything like a fence.

Yes. There is no problem in locking a stroller's wheels to itself. Just do not lock the stroller to a fixed item (post, fence, tree, etc.,) or the lock will be cut. From time to time a CM may straighten up a stroller parking area and must be able to move any parked stroller. If you lock the stroller to itself, it can still be moved a short distance but not really used.
