Ok, so my DH and I are taking our kids, DD3 and DS1.5 to the world for the first time this September. I have become obsessed with making sure I have every stroller accessory necessary to make the days run smoothly. I would love to hear any other tips from obsessed stroller people, if there are any out there. Here's what I have so far:

1) The stroller - double Jeep umbrella stroller. LOVE IT! Bought it just for the trip but am using it every day.
2) Clip on fan for the stroller
3) Clip on stroller umbrellla. I hate the canopies that come with the umbrella strollers because they always get bent and they don't fold up well. I want it to be as compact as possible on the buses.
4) Stroller bags to hang on back of stroller. Love the Jeep but it has no storage. Only drawback

Is there anything that can make stroller life easier in the parks? I guess I'm just obsessing because we've never done this before and I want to be prepared. :scared:

cup holder!!!!!!!!! one that comes off easy just in case it is in the way for folding. I find it is easiest to put it near the center handle so it doesn't get jostled in crowds.

My babysitter used this very stroller to transport my 2yo son and her 2.5 yo son. It works very well and she uses it several times a day 5 days/week. She hangs her small backpack with their necessities on the back. I could see clipping a cup holder and fan on easily. The boys always wear hats outside so the canopy isn't really an issue.

Good to hear from another LA native....I am originally from Gretna (29 years there!), but now in Chicago.

Glad to hear the stroller is good. My best friend lives in Gretna. Thanks for responding!

Here is my favorite stroller caddy. I never could find what I wanted, so I made my own. :)

I made the mistake of buying the Mickey head fan from WDW. It does not blow much air at all.

Our kids are about the same age DD turning 3 at end of August and other DD 16 months. We are taking our Eddie Bauer transit tandem since out Phil and Teds will not fit since we are taking the car instead of the van.

We also bought Radio Flyer clamp on Umbrella. Which stroller fan did you get, I have not found one that puts out any decent amount of air. I bought the O2cool misting fan and it is nice.

Someone already mentioned a cup holder, we could not live without one. Also
a saddle bag might work on your Jeep stroller and it would give you more storage room for thinks like snacks for the kids.

Have you thought about a rain cover for the stroller, that is one thing I did purchase :)

I ordered my stroller fan from www.onestepahead.com . It just came in the mail today. It puts out a decent amount of air. I like it because it's got colorful fan blades and they cannot fit their fingers in it. I also think the batteries I put in it are old so it may end up blowing harder than it does now.

I forogot to include my rain cover. I got the Graco side by side cover. I haven't tried it out yet. Hopefully we won't need it while we're there! Thanks for the tips!

Wow, if I were only that crafty! I just got the $8 mesh bags from Babies r us! Your's is much more festive!

Make sure you use the fan outside to test it they blow much cooler when inside. I would bring a raincover when not in use it also serves as a seat cover for the ground. You might like the saddle bags but don't the jeep twins come w/ the side bags the one I had did check w/ Kolcraft about getting one someone else posted that they were able to get a small net basket for underneath their jeep stroller from them.

I don't use a twin stroller anymore just a single and I have two O2 mini clip fans and two valco univeral cupholders they are all excellent.

This is the fan and they work great I use two b/c my dd4 seats alot.

This is the cupholder I order them from ebay for a great price and they are still on listing them for 9.99 or best offer PM and I will send you a link to them if you like them.

If you are not overly happy w/ the stroller umbrella have you looked into the rayshade. Over all I can't think of anything that you might be missing and I keep all of my stroller stuff together b/c we use it daily.
