Beth, your daughter is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks so much for sharing her portraits! I love the one with the book - she has such a precious expression and it really shows off those long eyelashes! I also love frame 86 - that's the first closeup of her face - her eyes just sparkle with life! I was struck by her dimples too - so cute! I'm afraid you'll have your hands full when she's a teen and the boys are calling. :p

Sorry to hear about the cold making the rounds at your house. Thank goodness Katie hasn't caught it and will be going to school today. I'm sure she has had enough of hanging out at home and is ready to get back to her activities!

Keep babying you, Beth. Lift enough weight to retain your muscle mass but not enough to build more - no taxing an already under-the-weather body! ::yes:: Drink, drink, drink!

Hope you're feeling all better soon! Looks like your decision to call off this weekend was a wise one!

I'm sorry to hear you caught that cold. I am still coughing from mine - it just doesn't seem to want to go away!:( Drink plenty of fluids and try to get some rest. At least Katie is able to get back to her routine!!

Thanks everyone, I am a proud Mama.

I did well today.
B: Morning Start bar and coffee.
L: Salad and a large glass of LC milk.
D: Salad, pot roast, a few carrots.
Water-3.5l.

I did put everything into fitday. My salads are always loaded, so I did eat over 1200 calories. I won't eat anything more, but will continue to drink water and a cup of tea.

I hit the Y. 2.5 miles on the treadmill and my weights. I took it easy. I have lost a ton of strength. Oh well, I'll get it back.

Hi All,

I'm running at about 90%. I am taking to Katie dance class. She woke up at 630, and she asks about every 5 minutes if it is time to go.:p After dance, we're headed to Costco and lunch. Then I'll hit the Y for some cardio. I'm going to try for 30 minutes on the arc-trainer and 30 minutes on the treaddie. I am going to play it by ear and keep track of my heart rate.

Plan for the day:
B:Morning Start bar and tea.
L: Coffee and salad Notice which is listed 1st.
S: String cheese.
D: DH wants BLT's. I'm going to have a salad, and a lettuce wrap with turkey, bacon, onion, cheese, and tomato.

I probably won't hit journals until tonight. I am sending :goodvibes to all. I hope it is :sunny: for you today.

Wow Beth! The plan looks awesome for today!!! That menu and the exercise will net you some great results I'm sure!::yes:: It wasn't the greatest way to shake up your system (getting sick), but I bet going back to the exercise and eating OP will break through your plateau in no time. :Pinkbounc

Huh, I posted here last night. Ugh, if my post is in your journal, I'm sorry.:crazy:

Yesterday went as planned. I only did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 40 on the treaddie. TOM showed up too.:rolleyes:

I won't be around. Mom is coming over this afternoon, so I need to do some cleaning. I am heading to the Y today for weights and cardio. I also have to start laundry.

B: Tea and toast.
L: Salad.
S coffee and cheese.
D: Salad, snap peas, and marinated grilled tuna steak.

I'm not sure I will get to journals today. I'm sending :goodvibes though.

Thank you for sharing Katie's pictures with us. She is absolutely adorable. She is one lucky little girl to have a Mama that dotes on her!

I'm sorry you've got a cold on top of the other crap. We have a bug going around work right now (because our TD had to work through the flu last week). I'm crossing my fingers - but that isn't keeping my throat from feeling like it is on fire.

Congrats on the pounds gone! Work back into the exercise slowly - muscle has memory and it will get back to where you left off real soon.

I never did make it back to the boards yesterday. Yesterday went as planned. I did 2 circuits and 30 minutes on the arc-trainer. I am still bloated beyond belief. I am drinking my weight in water, and you all know how much I weigh.:eek:

Today, Katie and I are making up for missing Halloween. We are going to lunch at McDonald's then a movie. She is still trying to decide between The Incredibles and The Polar Express. I am headed to the Y now. I'll try to catch up on journals tonight.

Loved the pictures of Katie. She reminds me of my oldest when she was that age... so long ago :D I hear The Incredibles is suppose to be really good. Hope to take the girls next week sometimes.
