I didn't think you would get a bonus for ACLS but you never know. It is mandatory at our hospital too and not paid for either. Sounds like you were really on track today. Hope you're feeling better.
 
Beth: I do hope you are starting to feel better - hate sore streppy throats - I think the excercise will help chase it away sooner. But please get yourself some rest!

I have to agree with Doreen, nightmares and full moon. I've got the same issues last couple of days too. Usually being overly physically tired will keep the nightmares away - but not this last week. I had a doctor tell me that nightmares are the product of a creative mind and that their frequency showed just how creative a person I am. I'd rather be less creative at times.

I'm so jealous - tickets to the Lion King - wow! Sounds like you'll have a very happy Easter. Congrats on getting through your training and test. The bonus sounds like good incentive - spend or save for something special!

The :sunny: is shining, and I'm feeling a little better. My throat is still a little sore, but I can eat today. I tried lc total protein today. Tastes like cardboard, but it is a nice change. I can see myself eating it every couple of weeks.
Today is laundry day, and I need to take Katie to get her Easter shoes. Other than that, nothing is planned. I'm winging it today. We'll see how that goes. I'm hoping to see a loss on weighin in the AM. I've stayed OP and exercised this week. I've started back at Curves. I'll see in the AM.

I'm off to sort laundry. I'll finish journals this afternoon.

Hi Beth, sorry to see you were sick but glad you're doing better now. So did you watch AI? I missed last night so I didn't get to see Tamira perform, darnit! I like George too. Guess they didn't vote Weasly off. BTW, great job staying on plan. That's not easy to do when you're sick especially when comfort food can be so soothing. Take care!:D

I have found a way to solve my late evening munchies. I started a cross-stich for my sister's nursery. It took her long enough to choose a bedding. I only hqave until late July to finish it. My hands need to be clean, so no eating.:p
The kitchen is now closed. I will only allow myself water or decaf tea from this point.

Recap:
1.) Meds taken 8/8.
2.) Water 4l so far 8/8.
3.) Exercise- I did my 2 mile waTP, and then went for a 1.5 mile walk. 7/8.
4.) Food 8/8.
Breakfast' 3/4 cup lc total with lc milk. Tea
Lunch was chicken salad.
Dinner was chicken taco salad with sour cream and salsa. Yummy!

I'm still pissed that the Weasley didn't get voted off of AI. I didn't like Camille, but he NEEDS TO GO! Next week, I may vote for everone, but him. UGH!

I'm ready for that scale bashing party. I'm up 1 pound to 223. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't upset. I've been OP, back at Curves and walking to boot. I'm not sure what else I can be doing. I'm going to take one out of Sharon's book. I'm going to stay positiva and stay on program.. Thanks for the inspiration, Sharon. I may be struggling this weekend. Long weekend and Easter teemed with a bad weigh in could be disasterous. I will have to work to stay OP, but I know this isn't supposed to be easy.

I work a 16 tonight, but I am off Saturday. I have more chicken salad to take. I'll also do a few strawberries, Sf jello, and a regular salad. Won is off from work today. He's going to watch Katie, so I can hit Curves and take a nap before work. I won't make it to mass today. My Catholic guilt is kicking in. There is no way I could make 8AM mass. I don't function then. The other mass is at 5PM and 7PM. I'm at work by then. I am a master at excuses.

Scale fluctuations drive me crazy too! Especially when you are being sooooo good...but you are exercising which is fabulous so it could be muscle gain. You have accomplished so much it is AMAZING and awe inspiring! 45 lbs WOW!!!!

Wow! You've got a 16 hour shift today? How do you do it? It's great that you have the rest of the weekend off. That way you can relax and enjoy Easter Sunday.

Glad to hear you get a nap in before work tonight. This weekend is definitely going to be tough. The holiday, you've got the show.... I know I'm pretty worried about my eating for this weekend!:( All we can do is try our best. ;)
Great idea to not give in to the munchy monster!!! Definitely can't munch if your hands are busy cross-stitching. And those hands have to be clean, so no munching! :teeth:

Well, I'm feeling better this afternoon. DM and DS called to see if Katie and I would like to join them for lunch. Duh.... Of course I couldn't nap, but I see my sister so rarely that it is worth it.

Katie and I have a new game. After I got back from Curves, I asked Kate if she wanted to workout with me. I have a rainbow workout suit for her, and she thought she was really hot stuff. I had her run/walk at her pace for the 1 mile circuir around our sub. She can really run. We ran 3/4 of that mile with periods of walking. It is fun to hear her squeal and giggle as I'm chasing her down the sidewalk. We will definately be doing that frequently.

Day so far:
1.) Meds taken 9/9.
2.) Water 2.5 liters so far. I'm anticipating 9/9.
3.) Exercise 3 circuits at Curves with an extra circuit of ab machines, and above walk/jog. I hope to take another 15 minute walk on my break. 8/9.
4.) Meals:
Breakfast was MS bar and 1/2 cup tea.
Lunch at Red Lobster was grilled Mahi Mahi with grilled veggies and salad with ranch. I passed on the cheddar buscuits.
Snack- latte on the way into work.
Dinner 1AM chicken salad and celery stuffed with cheese.
Snack/breakfast- I have strawberries with creamchesse dip or a MS bar. We'll see what I feel like.


I'm out the door. Thanks for the support everyone. I'll check in tomorrow. Sorry I didn't get to many journals. I'll try to do better.

I think last night could qualify as my worst night at work. That's saying something. All I can say is that it is over. I only got to eat my chicken salad. I didn't eat nearly enough. I survived on my water and my latte and then 2 more cups of coffee. Oy!

I got to bed around 1030AM, up at 230PM. I need to sleep tonight, so I need to be sleep deprived now. I got up and went for a walk. 3.5 miles.

Recap/plan
1.) Meds done. 10/10.
2.) Water, 2.5 liters so far. will definately be 10/10.
3.) Exercise. Yep. 9/10.
4.) Meals
Breakfast:MS bar and coffee (decaf)
230 PM- 1 cup chicken salad.
Dinner will be cheeseburger and salad.
Snack will probably be strawberries and whipped cream.

I'm in a quandry about tomorrow. Psycho granny just called to say that she has decided not to have Easter dinner this year. :rolleyes: Thanks for the notice. I have nothing Easter worthy in the house, and we have the play at 1PM. I won't get home until 430. It might be steaks and salad. I just don't know. I do know that I will not be going to the store now.

If I don't get a chance to check in with everyone, have a Happy Easter.

The play was incredible. The opening scene is just breathtaking. I highly reccommend it to everyone.

I stayeed OP yesterday and today, but it was close. I almost ate 5 jellybeans last night while I was stuffing plastic eggs. I figured, it's only 5. I decided to check the info first. Each jellybean has 2 carbs. YIKES! I would have been so angry with myself.

I'm tired and heading to bed in a minute. Katie woke us up at 6AM. She was exhausted and overstimulated from the play. There was no way she would last through a whole meal prep, so hot dogs it was. :rolleyes:

Lunch 2 eggs scrambled with cheese and bacon.

It is :sunny: and I'm feeling the differance. It is still cold, but I can deal with that. DH is home today. As usual, he's still in bed. I'll let him have the afternoon shift. I'll head to Curves this afternoon. I'm planning on 3 circuits with extra ab work. I'll take a walk afterwards too. I love it when I have unrushed workout time.

Breakfast lc peanut butter toast and vanilla coffee.
Lunch will be a ham and cheese wrap
Dinner will be steak with mushrooms in wine sauce, green beans, and salad.
I can have sf jello for dessert.
