We're going to Disney June 5 (YOUR ALL INVITED TO MY 50TH BD). Well back to my question are there any other dining coupons I can find on the web for Disney? I found the Mimis free bkf. Anything else out there?
3MONTHS AND COUNTING.

I believe Rainforest Cafe has a club you can join. I think you pay to join but then you get a free appetizer and a percentage off of food? I can't quite remember the details but I'm sure they have them on their website.

Splitting meals in the park is also a good way to save money. DH and i recently split a sandwhich at Riverbelle Terrace. I thought it was plenty of food with the side dishes included but DH was still hungry so later we bought a cookie and a tigger tail. The total was $20 so $10/person which isn't too bad. In fact, yesterday we went out to eat at a sit-down restaurant and the total, with tip, came to $25 so we actually spent less eating at DLR than we did eating at just a regular restaurant here in our town! Just something to consider since having to pay a tip can really increase the amount. Also, we only order water when we eat out which cuts down on costs too.

Does anyone know if the Hometown Buffet coupon makes you go on your actual birthday? I have two kids birthdays in June one day apart and wouldn't mind going for one meal but don't want to do it twice.

Just wanted to add that Pizza Port is another great place to split food. The pasta servings are large (we love the chicken fusilli) and we get a salad and/or breadsticks and it's plenty.

At Cafe Orleans we could split the Monte Cristo, but DH won't touch it. He pretty picky. :)

Defintely split, I think that's huge.

Also, with my family we usually snack all day long....:lmao: and we usually share those snacks, that way we get a good variety and we can try everything, and also keep the $$ down.

Bengal BBQ is great value (IMO) and you can share a couple skewers and get some other snacks later.

If you really want to be frugal, eat breakfast in the hotel before heading to the park (granola, fruit, etc. - much more flexiblity if your hotel has a mini-fridge), bring drinks (and refill with water during the day), bring snacks for one meal (trail mix, cheese crackers, PB&J, etc.), and eat the third meal off site. Eating at the park is expensive.

When eating out, stick with water. More and more places are charging $2 to $3 for soda or tea. After tax and tip, that can easily be $4 or more. For a family of 5, that's $20!

Split your meals. They are usually pretty big and plenty sharable. Eat breakfast at your hotel or in your room, many hotels offer free breakie, they aren't great but they are free. :) We love RFC, we eat there every trip just about, we are members of the Safari Club, we paid $10 to join (now I believe it's $15) and we get a free appetizer or 10% off our meal, we go with the appie because then we can get a combo and share it between DBF and I. Works out better pricewise.
If you've got an AP you can get 10% off at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen as well. :)

We've looked over menus for the parks & have certain meals that we're getting 1 appetizer & 1 meal & sharing. You'll find while at the parks, you're not super hungry....just too excited about being there, so doing this is more than enough for 2 adults.
We also at breakfast order 1 meal to split between our 3 & 7 yr old, vs buying them their own kid meal. Saves money that way.
A huge amt of the motel/hotels have continental breakfast. They aren't much, but usually enough to get you going in the morning. Take a cooler & store in the lockers for a picnic lunch. If you think you'll be eating in the parks a lot, look over the menu database http://www.wdwinfo.com/disneyland/dining/menus.cfm
and pick the restaurants that are cheaper prior to arriving. Have a budget for meals everyday & stick as close to it as you can....we save money that way.

If you want a change of pace from water, add the gatorade, kool aid, country time, lipton tea, etc powder mixes. They are individually packed, easy to fit into purses, etc, and everyone can have their own choice of flavor.
Hope you have a great time.:)
