stretch marks???

just curious.........i was ultra skinny and then all the sudden I was overweight due to being sick and got all kinds of stretch marks....will they go away when i lose the rest of my weight?? never had to lose weight before so i don't know these things??

They are permanent.

though they probably will fade over time....My stretchmarks on my belly are only noticible really by touch, you can feel the indents, however the nasty purple color that they were while pregnant is no longer. they are silver/white....I find that tanning lessens there apperance....

I have stretch marks still (they are lighter but you can still see them as they are kinda shiny ), and it has been over 5 years since I lost my weight. My doctor calls them my victory marks and something I should be proud of. rofl Luckily they don't show if I am wearing a bikini or anything with a low cut.
