It's a fun kind of stress...but we are going in November..so people booked before I got the chance too..so am having some trouble. I keep checking CRT ..and praying I get in..

How is Cape may Cafe for dinner? is it character? I have seen great reviews for O'Hana...I am a pretty picky eater if it isn't Italian or Amercan..I checked the menu..and it sounds interesting..Is ohana really that good? Did your kids like it? I am debating between that one and Captains Grille.. My daughter wants a steak though.. Where is a good place to have a steak?..I can't go to Epcot since we don't have hopper tickets ..so we are skipping it...

If I can Get Crt..then I can get the steak there..but I am thinking I have to make other plans...

we are also going to Seaworld and planned on paying out of pocket..How horribly expensive is Trex? My son would LOVE that place..anything with dinosaurs or Sharks!

I forgot to mention......I've becoem a bit obsessed with my ADRs...it is fun but I think I'm taking things overboard. We are leaving in 3 days and I'm still tweaking my dining plans (now I might dump Tusker House and the Plaza and use the 2 TS credits for Yachtsman Steakhouse!).

(Really....there are rides and shows in the parks...I thought we were just going there to eat!!!)

Yea I have checked the menus..not for steak though.. I didn't check for Trex either..didn't think it would be on there for some reason..Oooh thanks !

I checked O'hana..and it is different than what I normally would eat..but I have just heard rave reviews..

We are going to AK one day..but the restaurants don't excite us there..so I gotta find something else..and just leave and come back. I was curious if certain restaurants lunches are better than their dinners or vice versa..

Ok, to start the Cape May Dinner isn't a character dinner, at least form what I remember. Ohana is wonderful...we absolutely love it! All of the meats they bring on skewers are delicious and the sides are pretty good, they might have changed some of them since I last went. My little sister loved Ohana and she is now 10, which probably made her around 7 since we last went there. As far as steak goes it depends. We went to the Yachtsman steakhouse and their steak was delicious! I am not sure about Trex, since I have not been there, but prices should be listed on that allears website :) Hope this helped!

That's funny; I was waiting for my friends to call me all day so we could make the ressies together. They never did, so I didn't get in until about 2:00 pm.

I got all the ADR's I wanted, plus one I didn't even consider. That is what I love about the online system, it will suggest alternate times, or will make suggestions simultaneously that a person on the phone couldn't do.

I got an earlier time for Prime Time, because it was all about the experience and I got GF 1900 Park Fare in lieu of CP in MK, which I would have never even thought of!

I am glad you got your ressies...your going in Dec? I think my problem is we are going the first week in November..so the ressies were made a bit ago..We just confirmed our trip yesterday.

Captain's Grill is a take it or leave it, nothing special. I'm not a fan of Cape May dinner or Ohanas either. (Wow, am I negative Nellie or what?)

The night we went to OHana's, the meat was awful. The steak tastes funny, the shrimp was mealy, the pork was dry as concrete. Only the turkey was good. My dd is a big meat eater and didn't like the sides, so it was a bust for us. However, if you have the kind of kids that like to join in in fun and games, it's a fun place.

Have you thought of 50s Prime Time? You can't get much more americanized than that! Or Sci Fi? The steak and prime rib are good at Kona. (My dd loved the teriyaki!) Or what about Whispering Canyon?

Good luck, it's always fun to decide!
