Stressing and Need to Vent!!

Of course I was in the middle and DH was in his undies when someone came in with some more presents... and backed out hastily with an apology. I wonder what they thought we were doing....OK I know what they thought Turns out they'd given DH a size too small

Ya know, for a thread about being stressed out, this has been quite entertaining!!

"there's some people outside who'd like to view the house can they come in?" as the house looks like a bomb's hit it with wedding stuff EVERYWHERE.

I take it the scrap stuff is put away though? hey, if people can't understand what a wedding entails you don't want them in your house!

My mum always used to panic about tidying the house before we went on holiday, and would end up shoving everything into bags, throwing them into the cupboard under the stairs and shutting the door quickly before it all fell out again (not a naturally tidy person, my mum ) Of course when we cam home there's be a frantic search through the bags for whatever bills etc. my dad had left out to pay before he went but forgotten because they'd been "tidied".

I've been lectured about making the house tidy by Scott this morning. He's left for Lincoln for the last time now, won't be home until Oct!! Taken his suitcase ready for WDW on Monday. That was wierd, watching him load the car up this morning. No, he can't run off without me, all the travel documents are still here incuding his passport!!

MOH on her way over, busy day today and my dress finally leaves the shop and comes here for the night. I can tell the wedding is close, I'm getting really odd phone calls. Woken up by the venue wanting to confirm details of our dessert cheesecake lol!

Hiya,

Well we're finally here in Lincoln. The dress is hung up in a bedroom down the hall and family members are en route from across the country. I'm at my in-law's house with 2 bridesmaids and Scott, he'll be leaving for the best man's place once his parets have come home. They want to see him tonight before he leaves as they won't see him before tomorrow morning.

Does anyone here have a facebook? If so, add me in the next few hours - Sophie Sharpe, my profile pic if on me sat by a fountain. I'll be trying to text a few photos to my account tomorrow so online people can see.

Happy Wedding Day!

Reading this treat made me laugh, because the week before our wedding was so much fun! NOT! Dh had moved into an apartment earier that spring, so when my MOH and her three kids (2 girls and 1 boy) came for the wedding they stayed there with him. They had been visitng for a few days with all of their belongings in our closet (knowing they where coming and wanted to play with them- I moved most of my stuff from my mom's to there a few weeks early), when we went to my moms to iron all the table cloths for the reception. My mom noticed that one of the girls was scrating her head.... yes you got it, she had lice. When we went to the apartment to check our closet, her hat was ontop of a wire shelf right over DH's cloths.
So, in the 5 days before our wedding I did 100 loads of laundry and prayed the hair salon would not find lice on anyone. It's funny know (after 10 years) but I cried so much that week!
Plus, the day of our rehersal, DH had to go to court for a traffic accident that he was in (not his fault). This lady said that she was not going to pay until a judge made her- DH was last on the case load for that afternoon. It's a good thing that DH's mom worked in the court house- DH was moved first and won the case.

I know things are stressful, but try to breathe!
