I'm sitting here getting all worked up because I can't figure out how to make my job sound more interesting than other parents' jobs.
I have to present in my daughter's class today on my career. The problem is that my career is really boring to a six year old. I'm in an administrative position. I don't know how to make statistics, writing policy, strategic planning and personnel managment interesting.
I'm worried that I'll really let my daughter down. I usually miss all the school stuff because I do have a demanding career. I just want to make this special and wow the kids. My daughter has asked me to wear one of my power suits. Ugh, I'm not looking forward to this.

It's really difficult to run the business without the admin person. And don't even get me started on how hard it is to find a good, competent person for this position
.... that's why when one announces she is pregnant or she really wants to be an artist, I panic.
