Stress causing dizzy spells?

Completely, totally, absolutely.

It was constant dizzy spells that finally made me go and get medication for my chronic anxiety / stress.

After my mom passed, it was incredibly hard for me. I was an only child, and she was a single mom. It was so very hard.

SO, abso-freaking-lutely.

Yes I would would often faint from this. Was hospitalized but they found nothing wrong. Yet if I get stressed I get dizzy and faint.

Fairy Goddaughter....take care of yourself and come back and see us ::yes::

No answer but just a . Thinking of you and miss you!

yes, my stress goes up my blood pressure drops and so do I. some energy drinks only make it worse. my doctor told me to stay away from them.:flower3:

Stress and anxiety can certainly cause you to feel dizzy or fainty. But so can some other stuff. Dehydration can definitely cause dizziness and fainting. Asthma can do it. Migraine can do it. The thing I would be concerned about would be, is the dizziness continuing? Light-headedness that comes once or twice I wouln't think much of. But if it keeps happening you need to see your doctor. Silent heart disease often presents itself as fainting, weakness and nausea in women. If you continue to feel this way, call your doc and insist on a cardiac work-up. Heart disease is not just for old women. It can affect anyone.

DH suffers from dizziness at times, he discovered that when he gets stressed he tenses his shoulders and his neck tightens up. He goes to the chiropractor when this starts and it sorts him right out. Not saying this is what is happening in your case, but it might be something to consider.
