Street View in Google Maps

Sorry if this has been discussed before but .... has anyone tried looking at the DLR area in google maps street view? It's so cool! It's like you're actually there, walking around. If you ever wanted to get a good idea of what the area is like, how far it is to your hotel etc, this is really helpful and fun.

It's like standing on the street, you can swivel 360 to see all around you and decide which direction to "walk" in. It's really like being there.

I just took myself on a little walk down Harbor

Hey Cookiedude - it is so much fun . I can imagine being there. And it cracks my DD, now 5, up to see driving on the right side....

Are you talking about the google earth maps? Cause those are BRILLIANT! You can bring up the whole Mickey mouse head at the entrance gate, walk down mainstreet, see the bus loop, DTD, DCA, the hotels and the cross walk stripes on Harbor etc.

Nope not google earth maps, google street view. It's hard to explain if you haven't seen it but it puts you right down on the street, not looking at it from above. Go check it out .... maps.google.com, enter disneyland then click on Street View.

I tried that and it's just highlighting the streets in blue?

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Click on the little person icon and drag him onto one of the blue streets.

Oh my goodness, that is so cool. My brother told me they went down his street and he could see his car in the driveway, now I know what he's talking about, lol!

Yeah I really like it too. Gives me a taste of all those 'other' things that just say Disneyland and California to me. Palm trees. Cars on the wrong side of the road. Smog. Weirdly enough these things make me excited about my trip.

Wouldn't it be cool to be one of those people captured waiting to cross the road or driving by. If that was me I'd be like
