Straws

Those of you who know me pretty well are probably aware of my love of colored bendy straws. I can't really function without them in the house. If its an emergency, I can deal with a non colored bendy straw, but I really like the colored ones. They spice up life.

Okay, so getting to my point, I'm sitting here, wrapped up in a blanket, drinking Dr Pepper out of a hot pink bendy straw (that isn't bent). So I lean down to get a drink, because I'm typing and I don't want to stop to pick it up.

The straw stabbed me in the eye.

please tell me that this doesn't only happen to me.

Have you ever hurt yourself on a straw?

Yes that happens to me all the time, and i do worse things than that. I trip over myself and other stuff i couldn't even remember. Sorry about your eye hope it will be ok.

I've done that before, plenty of times. Not always in the eye sometimes it just pokes me in the face.

Yeah, and it hurt. Whenever I go somewhere and I get a straw, there is always a hole in it, and so I can never get anything out.

I used to get those colorful straws, but they were annoying because I had to use one that didn't clash with the color of my cup.
Now we use ones that are clear

Oh, and I don't think I have ever injured myself with a straw.

uh .. no but once in the car we were comeing home from somewere and we went over a bump and then it hit the top of my mouth and it started to bleed !! darn those bendy straws!

I can't use a yellow cup and a green straw together. it upsets me to know in. haha.

I've done that before. I always stab my upper lip, too! It sucks.

Straws are awesome, though the drink sometimes tastes funny after going through them.

honestly, no, but thats probably because i dont really use straws
