Is it true that Disney has purchased a large strawberry farm near the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, and it's a large enough parcel of land for a third theme park for the Disneyland Resort?

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's true. Although I wouldn't expect anything anytime soon.

<font color=navy>Right -- Disney purchased that land - it's catty-corner from DCA. They're leaving the strawberry field as is until they can figure out what to do with that land. I noticed when I was there that people staying in the nearby hotels could get fresh fruit from the people who are leasing that land.

AWW the all but forgotten third gate. With the lower then anticipated attendence (revenue) of DCA I would not expect to see the "third gate" any time soon.

A couple of years ago a bus driver said something about building a water park. Is this field the supposed land for the rumored water park? Or is that somewhere else?

this is the same parcel. There even used to be a Disney web site about the property !

Hope they don't end up selling it like they did the DVC Land parcel in Newport.
Coming from John Wayne in a cab to DL the driver told us Disney was soon to start buiding a water park. That was like 3 years ago.:(
