Strategy to meet non LL characters?

I have 3 kids under 5 and unfortunately 30 min+ character lines are a struggle.

My son really wants to meet Buzz at HS. Is this something we can “rope drop” aka line up before Buzz comes out at 9:15? I don’t even know where to find a line!

You can look up the characters, where they meet and when in MDE:
- select the upside down teardrop on bottom of screen
- change the centre drop-down to characters
- change right drop-down to ‘Show List’
- select the character you want to meet.

You will see where and when the character meets.

Today DHS officially opens at 8:30 and Buyzz starts meeting at 9:15

Right but is there a way for me to line up at say, 9? How does that work when there isn’t a queue until a CM comes out?

So, you could start the line, just remember that it is not an official line until a CM shows up. I haven't done this at Toy Story Land as my sister was not much for those characters. We did do the World Showcase princess tour and I know one trip they were staggered in start times so as we got to a new country, we had to wait. Usually there were others and we would just form a casual unofficial line and everyone joining just added to the end. Once we were technically waiting first, but were not sure where the meet was, so we just hung around and then joined after we found someone else that looked to be waiting and knew where the meet would be. Sometimes a few minutes before a CM would come out and get everyone setup where they wanted them.

That’s exactly what I needed to know, thank you! We may start just awkwardly hovering for Woody and Jessie before 9 and make a beeline for Buzz after that!
