DH & I will be traveling w/daughters, ages 5 & 7.

We'd like advice for setting up an strategy for both MK & MGM.

What time should we get to MK? (we'll be boating from Wilderness Lodge) Where's the Barber Shop I've heard about near Main Street? We'll be lunching at the Plaza & Char. Dinner at Liberty Tree.

Should we go for early entry at MGM?-- I've heard it's not necessary..... (we'll be leaving at this point from Coronado Springs....) At MGM, is there a particular order of shows we should try to see? (It'll be a Sunday when we're there.) We'll be lunching at the Drive IN & dinnering at the 50s Cafe. What do they offer at night?

It would help to know the time of year you are visiting. Peak season vs. off season can make a world of difference.

Since you're staying on-site, Early Entry (Extra Magic Hour) should play a part in your decisions. If you decide to take advantage of EE, make sure you are at the park at opening. If you would prefer to arrive later in the morning, avoid the park that has EE on any given day because there will be a huge crowd already ahead of you.

With small children, the best touring plan for MK is to hit Fantasyland as early as possible, and then move over to Toontown. From there, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference how you hit the rest of the lands.

The barbershop is facing you on the far left just as you enter the MK and walk under the train station. If you step onto Main Street itself, you've probably gone too far.

At MGM, the main EE attractions are Tower of Terror and Rock & Roller Coaster. Not sure if those appeal to your young girls. If so, then taking advantage of EE couldn't hurt.

Pick up a schedule of the shows when you arrive and try to plan out your day. I don't know that the order necessarily matters, but the later showings tend to fill up the quickest. Try to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid early at that's a popular attraction.

And, make sure you are educated regarding FastPass and use it whenever appropriate. No sense waiting in a line if you can be off seeing/doing something else.
